Here lies what I promised. Hope you enjoy. SP

As promised everything I would need for my life here in this new pack besides the presentation ceremony was settled. My adoption papers were signed and accepted. My school arrangements has been made. I had no idea how John got all of this done but he spared no expense getting everything ready just for me. Using my internal GPS as an advantage John had me scope out the school. I knew where all my classes were and where my group hangs out. Well this made things so much easier for me. It still didn't stop the nervousness from settling in my stomach for being the new girl can still be scary; even if I did know the layout of the school. The only positive thing being I won't get lost like an idiot and embarrass myself.

Cassie had her shopping day on Saturday and of course I took full advantage of it. Mason and his friends tagged along which they of course regretted as soon as two handfulls of shopping bags were passed to each of them within the first hour. I forgot to explain that most of the werewolves in this pack were extremely rich. I can vouch for that. And now being the Betas' new daughter they provided me with my own cards to various stores and my very own bank account which screamed filthy rich when Naomi gave me a rough estimate amount that they had transferred. Not even my old pack could come close to having the amount of money made by this one. Yes, they were rich but these people were loaded. I had no words for it.

Etienne explained that the pack's richness was because not only were they the largest pack there is but because of smart business decisions and pack mates who go on to study something which brought in the money once they've made it. He explained that here in the pack everyone is linked to everyones money in some way and even if they weren't connected at all; the pack aided financially when needed which I thought was awesome because they didn't just keep to themselves like I thought. They dealt with financial problems in the human world too. I understood everything in how the pack works with money and everything else. It was like I learned years worth of work withing that span of many ours. Feeling like a true River Packmate I smiled and let the feeling of being happy fill me.

Cassie and Mason were chilling on my bed reading magazines and I sat in my bean bag with my book. Nick Jonas was playing in the background when Mason declared that he was bored.

"Well, what so you suppose we do?" Cassie asked as she flipped the page. The sound sharp. I looked up from my book and shrugged. Mason looked at me for help.

"Don't look at me. I'm a newbie. I haven't learned what's fun and what's not around here. I don't even know that land yet." just as the last sentence was out of my mouth Mason smiled.

"That's it! That's what we can do. Zia, you're a genius." Cassie stopped ignoring Mason and looked at him.

"What's going on in that vile head of yours?" she asked sweetly and Mason glared at her. She stuck her tongue out at him and went back to reading. I was, however, intrigued.

"So... what are we doing?" I prompted and he turned his gaze to me with excitement dancing in his eyes.

"Okay. Considering you haven't seen the land yet I figured why don't we go for a run. I think it will be good for us. My wolf has been itching to run and it's driving me insane. Isn't yours?" he asked and I thought about. My wolf was actually. She'd been irritated at being held in for so long.

I nodded, "Okay then. Let's go." I placed my book down and got up.

"Whoa, you guys." Cassie whined and we looked at her.

"What?" Mason and I asked in unision.

"You guys were just about to ditch me without letting me agree to come." she stared at us in disbelief. I shared a look with Mason and sighed. He chuckled.
