Springtime With the Wiggles

Easter

Deep in the chocolate factory, there was peace all over.

It was a very beautiful and peaceful spring day.

The flowers were blooming and the insects were frolicking all over. And...

"Today's the day! It's finally here! Easter!" said Anthony with excitement.

Ha ha ha ha. I suppose I shall let the Wiggles take it from here.

"We're going to the Fudge Room to have an Easter egg hunt with Murray's wife Sam, Charlie" said Jeff.

"Well, it is a beautiful day for it" said Charlie Bucket.

"Yeah. If we find any blue eggs, we're giving them to Violet Beauregard. The blue ones are her favorite" said Anthony.

"That's awfully nice of you. She'll love that" said Charlie.

"And we're bringing you a pink one, Mrs Bucket. Those are the prettiest" said Murray.

"Very good, Wiggles. But first, eat your breakfast. You can't hunt eggs on an empty stomach" said Mrs Bucket.

"That's what Augustus Gloop says too" said Greg.

"And he's exactly right. So you can go as soon as you're finished" said Mrs Bucket.

The Wiggles ate their breakfasts in less than a minute. 

Then they hurried outside where Mike Teavee was arriving.

"Happy easter, Mike!" said Jeff.

"Happy easter, Wiggles" said Mike.

"What do you have in the bag?" said Murray.

"Just some gear for hunting Easter eggs. First a compass so you know where you are. A backpack for packing the eggs in. Some of this, some of that, and... of course a telescope. That way you'll be able to see the eggs from far away" said Mike.

"Beauty mate!" said the Wiggles in unison.

"Have fun, Wiggles!" said Charlie.

"Bye, dears. Have fun" said Mrs Bucket.

"Ha ha ha! She called us dears" said Mike.

The Wiggles laughed as Mike said "Bye, Charlie! Goodbye, Mrs Bucket, ma'am! And hello too! I guess..."

So Mike and the Wiggles hurried off.
