Springtime With the Wiggles

Sam Gets Mad

Sam came in from her gardening to find the Fudge Room decorated.

"What... what is..." she gasped.

"Happy easter, Sam!" said the Wiggles in unison.

"Easter? Easter?!" Sam almost shouted.

"Yeah. You remember easter, right?" said Murray.

"You know, jelly beans and baskets and egg hunts?" said Jeff.

"Why... Wiggles. I believe you've all been misinformed. This is spring cleaning day" said Sam.

She got angry and yelled "And you've all ruined it! I don't believe it! I told you exactly what to do and you didn't do any of it! I want you all out of here at once! All of you! Out!" 

The guys ran straight out.

"Well, THAT went well! Maybe we should have sung it in a different key" said Mike.

"I dunno, Mike. I'm not sure Sam wants us to sing anything" said Violet.

"Now that you mention it, I don't think Sam wants to celebrate easter at all" said Mike.

"Huh?" said the Wiggles one at a time.

Murray looked in the window to find his wife looking at her dress.

"Easter..." Sam sighed.

A slow tear fell down Murray's cheek.

He burst into tears and ran off. The others followed him.

"Guess there's nothing to do but go home then. Come on, Wiggles" said Mike.

The Wiggles weren't there. Mike went looking for them.

He found them near the chocolate river.

"Ah, there you are. I was looking for ya, Wiggles. Ya wanna go jumping?" said Mike.

"Oh, no thanks, Mike. We don't feel like it" said Anthony.

"Look on the bright side. At least you don't have to do any more spring cleaning" said Mike.

"I'm worried about my wife" said Murray. 

"She did get pretty hot and bothery" Mike agreed.

"Are we ever gonna do easter stuff again?" said Greg.

"Hey! Of course we're gonna do eastery stuff! All we need to do is, uh... per se... in nature..." Mike stuttered.

Then he started crying and said "We're never gonna do eastery stuff again".

"But why not?" said Jeff.

"Why not? Why not, you ask? Actually, that's a good question. And I know just who to ask it to too" said Mike.

"You're gonna go talk to Sam?" said Anthony.

"Of course! If I can get her to snap, you guys are sure have a great easter" said Mike.

"And then we can have an Easter egg hunt?" said Anthony.

"You betcha! Everyone'll be happy then" said Mike.

"But do you really think you can get Sam to change?" said Greg.

"Why, sure. Everything changes in springtime. Cocoons become butterflies, seeds become flowers, and little fellas become bigger fellas. Anything can change! Even Sam" said Mike.

"Yeah, she did change when she decided to marry me instead of stay my ex" said Murray.

"Case in point" said Mike.

"We'll get everyone together while you talk to Sam" said Jeff.

"And I'm not coming back until I come back! Or Sam gives us easter back. Whichever comes first" said Mike.

So off they went in opposite directions.
