Springtime With the Wiggles

Easter Practice

It seems that while we were away, the rest of the gang had been hard at work.

"Oh, Wiggles, dears" Mrs Bucket called.

"Oh, g'day, Mrs Bucket" said Murray.

"Charlie and I thought you'd like a break from what you're doing." said Mrs Bucket.

"What exactly are you doing?" said Charlie.

"We're getting ready for easter" said Greg.

Violet put a rock in a painted bucket.

"Is that a rock?" said Mrs Bucket.

"Well, we're all out of eggs" said Jeff.

"So we're hunting for easter rocks instead" said Violet.

"I see. You seem to be hard at work" said Mrs Bucket.

"We're practicing" said Veruca.

"Yeah. So when Mike gets back, we'll be ready to go on our easter egg hunt" said Anthony.

"Guess you could call it spring training" said Augustus.

"And we made new decorations." said Veruca.

"Yes we did. My wife may have destroyed the old decorations" said Murray.

"I see. So when does the official celebration begin" said Charlie.

"Just as soon as Mike gets back from the Fudge Room" said Violet.

"There he is!" said Veruca.

"Mike!" said the Wiggles in unison.

They jumped on Mike like he would them.

"Did you talk to her, Mike? Did you?" said Anthony excitedly.

"Well, yeah. We sorta talked" said Mike.

"So? What's the word?" said Murray.

"We are gonna have an Easter egg hunt aren't we?" said Jeff.

"Well... let's just get right to the point in the best way possible. So... the answer is... no" said Mike.

"Does that mean Sam still isn't happy?" said Greg.

Mike nodded his head sadly.

"But why?" said Murray near tears.

"You see... when we did the eastery egg hunt without her, we took away Sam's most favorite thing of all" said Mike.

"So... I'll never see my easter cookie jar?" said Veruca.

"Or my beautiful blue easter basket?" said Violet.

"Or my fluffy bunny ears?" said Augustus.

"Or my strippety-stripedy eastery egg either" said Mike.

"But there must be something we could do" said Greg.

"Why, of course there is! We just have to think of it first" said Veruca.
