We're On Our Way

Now, I promised Veruca Salt would be in this story. 

And here she is now.

She was out walking and she ran into Violet Beauregard.

"Oh! Hello, Violet" said Veruca.

"Oh, hello! I'm glad I ran into you, Veruca. Now we can to Sam's together. I can't wait to see what she's doing for easter this year" said Violet.

"Me either. Especially if there's chocolate. You can't have easter without chocolate, Mr Wonka says" said Veruca.

"And you must be excited too, Augustus" said Violet.

"Positively tickled pink" said Augustus Gloop.

"And you should be. All the flowers are blooming" said Violet.

"And the bees are busy buzzing" said Veruca.

"Ja. It makes me feel downright peaceful" Augustus agreed.

Then Mike jumped on Augustus.

"Well, it WAS peaceful" said Augustus.

"Hello, Mike" said Veruca.

"Dontcha mean happy easter? And if that is what you mean, you know what that means!" said Mike.

"We get to go hunt easter eggs!" said the Wiggles.

"With my special blue easter basket" said Violet.

"And my lovely easter cookie jar" said Veruca.

"Wouldn't be easter without my super stripedy Easter egg" said Mike.

"Or my fluffy bunny ears" said Augustus.

"So! What are we waiting for? Stop your talking and start your walking" said Mike. 

The guys started walking towards the Fudge Room while singing.

Mike: We're hunting eggs today

Others: We're hunting eggs today

Mike: And I can hardly wait for what we'll find there

Mike: The easter bunny's left a lot behind there

Wiggles: Red ones, blue ones

Violet: Yellow, pink and green

Veruca: Purple polka-dotted ones

Augustus: Even tangerine

Mike: A perfectly strippety-stripedy one
