You were finishing up your shift but decided to work over time since you needed the money.
It was getting dark and the customers were dying down. You heard the door open and saw your crush walk in. One of the waiters had went to take his order and you were thankful for that since you would've been a stuttering mess.
As soon as his food was made the waiter who took his order got busy with another costumer which soon came in after. The chef had told you to give him his food but you declined. The waiter who took his order came over and asked you to please take him his food. You gave in and took his food to him.
he immediately recognized you and just said hi.
"H-hello" you managed to stutter out.
you walked away and went back to where you were sitting
"y/n you haven't ate all day and you haven't had a break all day. you need to eat and rest a while." the chef had told you
"no, i'm ok. i'm not hungry or tired plus the restaurants about too close." you reassure him. he has always looked out for you and you thank him for that.
Another costumer came and you took their order. About 3 more people came in and the chef had made you some food.
"please eat something y/n" you take the plate and nod at him. you place the plate on the side of the counter.
after taking one last persons order you sat down and waited for more people to come in.
you realized your crush was still eating and you felt an arm brush against yours. you look up to see him.
he took a hold of your hand and held up the sandwich on your plate to your mouth.
"please eat y/n. listen to me, and him" he pointed up to the chef and smiled at you
you took the sandwich in your hand and started to eat while he was across from you. Another costumer came in and you started to get up. your crush pushed you back down to sit back down.
"i got this one" he winked at you and went up to the counter
He took out a slip of paper and went to the costumer to take their order. You saw as he did everything correctly. You were amazed to what he knew and how much he knew.
He took the slip of paper and gave it over to the chef, once the food was made he delivered it over to them. On his way there he shot you a smile and then sat back in the same spot.
You were done with the food and he had a smile on his face once again.
"how did you know how to take a persons order like that" you asked him
"let's just say i'm a quick learner" he responded. You went back to where you were taking the order of the last 3 customers and realized he payed attention to how you did it.
You smile back at him and stood up to take your plate back to wash. he walked to the back with you and then said his good bye to you. You waved bye and he then left.
It was closing time after about 10 minutes and you were the last one to leave and made sure everything was locked up. As you were leaving you felt a bit of rain start to fall. You frowned since you didn't have an umbrella at hand. You focused your eyes to see someone across the parking lot. you saw him, standing under an umbrella, waiting for you.
He walked over to you and handed the umbrella over to you.
"i figured you might need this." you both locked eyes
"T-thanks" you went to take the umbrella out of his hand only to close it on yourself. He started to laugh and u never realized how addicting his laugh was.
You let out a soft laugh a long side his as you were opening up the umbrella again.
He said his goodbye once again to you and so did you to him. He started off to his car again you headed home.

AHHH i really like this one out of all. this one might be my fav from now on. A little miraculous ladybug "the umbrella scene" recreation 😪 I still love that scene for some reason. It's my favorite of the whole show.
i'm actually proud on how the end result came out. i had to re-make this one so many times and i kept messing up but here is where i got with this one.
