One of your classmates was deaf and nobody would go up to him to talk or hang out.
You wanted to be able to talk with him so you decided to learn sign language.
Everyday after school you would go into the library and practice so you would approach him and communicate.
But one day someone sat down besides you, him.
He took your pen and wrote something down.
'Need help?'
You smiled.
You nodded and he wrote something down again. 'Wanna practice basic words?'
And so you two did for over an hour. You then took a pice of paper and wrote something down. Then gave it to him.
'Can you show me how to sign the word "beautiful" please' he smiled.
He started using sign language slowly so you could get every letter right.
And then it hit you, he just signed your name.
