You're in the cafeteria waiting for a friend while you're looking down at your phone.
All of a sudden ur name is called out from afar. You look up to see your crush is approaching you.
"Hey" he says, with his face all red.
"Hi" you replied in a shy and polite tone.
"This is probably bad timing but by chance can I get you number?" He asked
You smiled and was about to speak, when you see his friends laugh in a distance. That's when your smile faded away.
He turns around to see his friends as well.
"I'm good" you answered his offer previously, got up and walked away.

Later that day....
You're walking in the hallway while on your phone once again.
You pass a class when you see your crush and his friends there, then quickly walked back trying not to make them see you.
"Why would you guys laugh? You know how much I like y/n and I made a total fool of myself." He exclaimed
"Sorry bro, we didn't mean to make it seem that way" one of his friends said
"Now she probably hates me. There's no way she'll give me a chance now." He said
But he doesn't know you overheard them talking
