Zelda
------------------------------------------------
He saved me. Without a thought for his own life, he saved me. After the way I've been treating him...he risked it all to save me regardless.
He was selfless and simply kind.
"Link?"
Link spun around. "Are you hurt?" He started looking around at me, but I assured him I was fine.
He helped me up and dusted me off.
"Thank you, Link. Sincerely. I'm sorry that-"
Link held up his hand. "It's really alright. I mean, it is my job," he laughed.
I nodded. Right, of course.
"Now I left some weapons and food back there, mind if we go get them?" He asked.
"Sure," I replied. We wandered around and collected the things that made it easier for him to run in sand without. It varied from mushrooms to elixirs. In the deep sand it proved a challenge to find everything, but eventually we did.
"May I ask you something, princess?" Link piped up during the search.
"As long as you refer to me as Zelda, and not princess, then sure."
"Can you stay closer from now on, in case there are more Yiga or monster hordes?"
My face grew hot from embarrassment. "Yeah that would be best, wouldn't it?"
Link laughed. "It would be helpful, yes."
After finding everything, he put all his extra gear and weapons back on. The weather had been extremely warm, so we journeyed back the Kara Kara bazaar.
Suddenly, the slate started to chirp. I held it up, and a message had been sent from the ancient lab.
Another success on their part! Wonderful!
They had another shrine for us to try with the slate; it must have provoked Purah and Robbie's interests.
"There's another shrine for us to check out, Link. At the base of death mountain."
Link nodded.
"Then off we go, then."
Link dug around in his bag and pulled out an elixir and handed it to me. "Drink this for the journey to the stable."
"Do you have one?"
"No, but I'll be fine."
I looked down at the bottle in my hand.
He was willing to give me the last one?
"I can't-"
"Please do it. I saved it for you."
He saved this for me??
"Alright, but I still-"
"Drink it."
"Okay fine.." I popped the lid off and chugged the elixir. The air suddenly felt cooler again, much more bearable.
"Alright, are you sure you want to leave now?"
