𝚂𝚘𝚗𝚐: 𝙽𝚘 𝚁𝚘𝚘𝚝𝚜 - 𝙰𝚕𝚒𝚌𝚎 𝙼𝚎𝚛𝚝𝚘𝚗

After cuddling in my bed for an hour and going on rants about our unpopular opinions it was finally around the time for JJ and I to start heading over towards the Château.

I got dressed and pulled on some black cargo pants and a matching black cropped tee with a hoodie and my black converse.

We headed down towards the Cut and made it just in time at the Château.

We all piled into the van as we sped down the road with John B being our designated driver and Sarah, Pope, Kie, JJ, and I riding in the back.

"Oh, and also me and Attie are dating" JJ announced.

I look over at him, a faint blush spreading over his face.

"—I knew it"

"—Wait, really?"

"—I thought you both already were?" John B asks.

I shake my head.

"I mean you both kiss and cuddle up to each other so it was only a matter of time" Pope says.

I roll my eyes playfully.

"Okay, moving on, do we have everything?" I question softly.

"Rope?" John B asks.

"—Check"

"Grappling hook?"

"—No grappling hook, we're not Batman, JB" I reply.

We went through the rest of the list before we turned down the cul-de-sac.

We stopped in front of the old stone wall as John B turned off the car.

"We're ready"

"—Lets go"

"Let's go get rich, guys" JJ says.

"Yeah. Hell, yeah" I reply.

John B came around and opened up the side door.

"Let's go boys"

"—And girls"

John B opens up the door and before we could get out he stopped us.

"I wanna say thank you, guys. Seriously" John B says looking at the five of us.

I smile at him softly.

"It means a lot to me that you're here tonight."

"Always" Kiara replies.

"Of course, man" Pope adds softly.

"All right, we done with this circle jerk? Can we go do this?" JJ asks, trying to brush away the sappiness.

"Yeah" Kie replies.

"Let's get that wheat in the water" I say softly.

"Weed? I'm up for weed" JJ replies.

"—Wheat. Blondie, I said wheat" I repeat, ruffling his hair playfully.

"—After you"

"—Ladies first"

"Alley-oop" I say softly.

I was the first to climb over the stone wall followed by Sarah, Kie, JJ, Pope, and John B.

We made our way through the tall grass as we all stood in front of the Crain house.

The motion sensor came on as we all scattered behind bushes.
