(A/N : phoebe and daisy are 5 here and Lottie is 16)
Johanna sat on a cold metal bench.
Tears streaming down her face.
Mascara, turning her warm tears a dull shade of black.
"Mommy?"
She swiftly turned around to find Phoebe and Daisy holding hands, clutching their stuffed toys tightly.
Lottie wiped a tear away as she stood behind the twins, helplessly letting out a soft cry.
"Munchkins? Would you mind asking daddy to drive you home? It's getting late and I bought you two here on one condition. Remember? "
"Yesh!" Phoebe answered louder than she should have.
Dropping her panda she ran towards Jay and wrapped her tiny hands around her mother.
Followed by Daisy joining the hug, tugging along with her stuffed whale squished between her arms
Jay kissed the top of their heads and softly mumbled "Babies, go to daddy and ask him to take you back home. I will be there soon too."
"What about Lou?" Daisy asked innocently. Not aware of anything that had happened.
Lottie interrupted them as she put her hands around the girls.
"He will be home soon too." she responded with muffled voice. "Who else do you think is going to read you your bedtime story?"
Jay smiled as a she nodded motioning her hand towards the door.
"Yay!" Phoebe exclaimed loudly as both the twins ran towards their daddy.

"I cant! I-I just cant lose another child." Jay said.
"I know. I know mom!" Lottie said as she took jays hand interwinding their hands together. "Lou will never leave us. He has promised to never leave us what so ever happens!"
"Mrs.Tomlinson?" said a thick Irish accent.
Jay and Lottie looked up to see a doctor in a white lab coat. Her hair tied up in a sleek bun and a stethoscope around her neck, name tag that said 'Lily Horan'.
"W-what is Lou okay?" Lottie asked as she stood up.
"We can't assure anything right now . Without wasting any more time, I am going to come straight to the Point. We urgently need a heart donor. If we find a heart donor, for which the person has to be brain dead, in the next 2 hours. There are a hundred person chances of saving him"
"And wh-what if he doesnt get a heart donor?!" Lottie exclaimed.
Lily looked down at her feet "I am sorry." and walked away without saying another word.

"I have put the news up on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. now we just have to wait for someone to contact us if they know a-" Lottie paused "a brain dead person."
"We just have an hour left." Jay said softly. Clearly she had lost all hope.
After a minute of painful silence,
"Can you- can you ask the doctor if, um , if i can see boo?" Jay asked Lottie.
Lottie sniffed and responded with an emotionless "Yes."

"This way Mrs.Tomlinson" Lily motioned her hand towards a metal door.
"And please try not to cry in front of the patient. We try to provide the patient the most positive atmosphere we can. It helps in the patient wanting to fight for their life."
"I will." Jay replied even though she very well knew it she would break down the second she would lay her eyes on Louis.
Jay entered the room and froze at the sight.
Louis looked as if he was asleep.
Deep sleep.
He looked just as peaceful.
It reminded Jay of her putting Louis to bed every night when he was a kid and kissing his head.
Things had changed.
He was not a kid anymore.
And he was not asleep.
Atleast not a painless sleep.
It was too much for a mother to take in. especially for a single mother who had already lost enough.
She sat down on a chair and took louis hand into hers.
It was cold.
It did not feel like Louis hand.
"Louis could you please come here for a bit!"
"Coming!"
Louis rushed down the stairs to find jay sitting on an armchair.
Her eyes slightly red from crying.
"Mommy!" louis exclaimed as he rushed towards her. "mom are you okay?" louis with a dash of worry in his voice.
"I am fine boo. Its- its just that-" jay paused and wiped a tear "I miss feli."
Louis took his mothers hand.
"I miss feli too mom. But she is in a better place. And she misses you too! The two of us have to stay strong mommy." Louis said with a bit of sadness in his ocean blue eyes. "We have to do it for phoe and daisy. Please?" he said as his eyes started to water up.
Jay giggled as she wiped away a tear that was now tickling down louis cheek "Of course honey. I love you so much boo." she said looking down at her feet.
"Love you too mom. and i promise that i will always be by your side. I promise."
"MOM!!"
Jay was shaken back to reality as she stood up to see Lottie smiling brightly.
"What is it Lottie?!" A tiny hint of hope in jays voice.
"WE GOT A DONOR!"
