Chapter 12: Home Together

(I thought the previous chapter was shorter than I like, and since I'll be taking a break soon enough, I need to leave you guys with something more! After this, we have 7 more chapters and that is counting the epilogue as well. So, enjoy!) 

           Cure Queen blocked Marmo's whip attack as Cure Sword's hand began to shine as she twirled and yelled, "Hurricane Sword!"

Purple swords rained from the sky and nearly cut up Marmo! She barely got away from the attack as Johnny slashed her whip! Marmo jumped back from them as she saw her whip cut in half.

"Tell us what is really going on" Cure Queen stated seriously as she faced her.

Cure Sword and Johnny stood at her side as Marmo shook her head. Darklings then jumped out and attacked them! Cure Sword and Johnny swung their swords to cut down any incoming Darklings as Cure Queen blocked their attacks. She saw Marmo backing away from them slowly as she held herself close. Cure Queen raised her swird to have light gather around the blade.

"Heavenly Beams!" she cried out.

Then, she waved her sword downward to make the light rain down and pierce the Darklings and create a path for her to reach Marmo. Johnny swung his sword around to knock back any Darklings as Cure Sword twirled around to make purple swords shot from her hands to cut the Darklings. Cure Queen held her sword close to herself and then lunged at Marmo. Marmo cringed as she prepared to meet her end. However, she opened her eyes to see the sword only a mere inch away from her face.

"You're not fighting with your full strength. You are holding back. Why? What is going on?" Cure Queen asked seriously.

Marmo was shocked at what she told her. Johnny and Cure Sword surrounded her. Marmo just sighed as she raised her hands up to surrender. Cure Sword was a bit surprised to see this as Johnny marched over to her to tie her hands together.

"Call off your Darklings" he said seriously.

Marmo snapped her fingers to make the Darklings disappear. She then looked at Cure Queen and Johnny as she whispered, "I'll explain everything as you take me as your hostage"

The two of them were surprised as they entered the castle. Cure Ace jumped away from Kunzite's sword strike, so that Cure Joker could run behind them and swung the dragon glaive at Kunzite.

"Silent Roar!" Cure Joker shouted as she swung her glaive at Kunzite.

A strong beam of light struck his back and away from Cure Ace.

Cure Joker laughed at how easy it was to strike him as her twin sister snapped at her, "Be on guard, Cure Joker!"

Cure Joker stuck her tongue out at her as Kunzite picked himself up. He held his sword and glared at them as he drew his sword at them.

"I will not lose to a bunch of children! I will stop you, in the name of my queen!" he shouted as he swung his sword to send a powerful wave to knock them int a wall!

Cure Ace summoned her baton as she waved it towards him and yelled, "Ace shot! Bang!"

A red beam burst from her baton and pushed Kunzite back. He held his sword in front of himself to block her attack and slowly make his way to them! Cure Ace gasped with worry as Cure Joker tried to raise her glaive at him. However, Johnny charged through and clashed his sword against Kunzite's. Cure Queen then pushed herself and her two little sisters to the ground. Cure Sword made sure Marmo could not escape and twirled around to cast her "Sword Hurricane" at Kunzite.

"Are you two alright?" Cure Queen asked seriously as she looked at her two little sisters.

Cure Ace calmly assured that she and Cure Joker were safe as Cure Joker loudly exclaimed, they were fine. Cure Queen embraced them with relief as Johnny blocked Kunzite's attack. Kunzite then landed a strong strike on Johnny's sword that forced Johnny to his knees. Then, Kunzite punched him in the stomach and knocked his sword out of his hands!
