"IT ALL STARTED when I came back from overseas. I was sent by my mother to study abroad in Los Angeles during my last year of high school, and I came back only recently. During high school, I had a really close group of friends, we were basically family, but we all lost touch after some time. But, on April eleventh, I saw Jungkook walking to school, and I saw Namjoon at the gas station, but I never spoke to them. I... was scared, I guess. It'd been two years since I'd seen them. But, on May twenty second, I wanted to catch up with Namjoon, but I found out he was at a detention center, and that's where he told me that... Jungkook was dead," Seokjin explained.

Jungkook had died? Her heart raced at the terrifying thought. The ledge, she realized.

"And so was Yoongi," he glanced at the door where he'd seen Yoongi get rolled into. "One of my friends was in the hospital, another was in jail for murdering his father, and the other was nowhere to be found," Seokjin released a sigh, his breath shaky as he recalled the memories. "I went to the beach, a place we always hung out before, and then I heard a voice... asking me, 'If you could turn back time, do you believe you can straighten out the errors and mistakes...'"

"'...And save everyone?'" Luna finished his sentence as a chill ran through her spine. The night of her first loop, she had heard those exact words too.

"Y-you heard it?" Seokjin looked at her disbelief.

"Yeah. Your voice, too," she replied. "I guess that's why you've always been weirdly familiar to me in each loop. I'd heard your voice the first time. Why is it happening to me, then?"

He fell silent. "I... I don't know. What have you been doing every April eleventh?"

"The same things, except you started to show up at a different time in each loop. The first time was at the gas station, then when you crossed the street in front of me, when I bumped into you in the staircase here, and when you were talking to the boy I usually run into during each loop here, when my friend Hoseok..." her voice trailed off when she recalled the sight of her close friend on the stretcher, in pain.

"Wait, you bumped into Jimin every April eleventh?"

So that boy's name is Jimin, she thought, a bit relaxed now that she knew his name.

"And you saw Namjoon?" Seokjin cocked his eyebrow at her.

"I saw a lot of the same peculiar people in each loop," she stated.

"Like who?" He asked.

"Um, in the morning, I usually saw one of my friends, Taehyung, graffitiing in an alley, until he stopped showing up. I would hang out with Hoseok at work. I would pass by a boy with orange hair staring at a piano in a music shop. Then, bump into Jimin at the hospital. And then, Namjoon at the gas station at night," she listed all of the people that stood out to her on April eleventh.

"Orange hair? Piano?" Seokjin stitched his eyebrows together in thought. "That's Yoongi."

Luna's face softened at his words. The person inside the emergency room right now is him?

"H-How do you know Jungkook?"

"I used to help him with mathematics in school," she replied.

"You've had an encounter with every one of my friends who needs saving at least once," Seokjin spoke, almost talking to himself as the gears turned in his head. "You're connected in this somehow."

"But why?" she asked.

"I don't know," he replied and shifted in his seat to face her.

Luna observed how exhausted he looked. The bags below his monolid eyes, the crease between his eyebrows, and the dullness of his eyes. It tugged her heartstrings that this boy, whom she'd never met before, was probably witnessing all of his closest friends helplessly get hurt, over and over again.

"Luna, we need to save them. We were given this chance, and I'm sorry if it wasn't by your choice, but it wasn't mine either. They're my brothers, and I would do anything to make sure they're happy again," he said to her, his eyes almost pleading her.

A part of his brothers were her friends also. Taehyung, Hoseok, Jungkook, and even Namjoon partially. To think that they would ever get hurt, well, she would not stand for it.

"Of course I'll help you."

APRIL 12

Seokjin unlocked the door to his house, walking in with Luna behind her. He had quite the spacious house, despite living alone. As she continued to walk through his house, it was obvious that he was rich.

She followed him up the stairs and into a room, presumably his bedroom, and her jaw almost dropped at the sight of the board on the wall, strings and sticky notes attached to it like a detective wall.

On the board were the locations of where his friends would be on some days, including Jungkook on the roof of the building, which motel Yoongi was staying at, and more.

However, one sticky note caught her eye.

"Hoseok on the bridge?" she read it out loud, catching Seokjin's attention who had been tidying up a little bit.

"Yeah. That's where he collapses and hits his head," he explained.

So that's how he'd gotten injured. Or rather, will get injured.

It amazed her that he knew all of this, until she started to feel sorrowful for him.

"How many times have you had to watch them...?" her voice trailed off as she sympathetically looked at Seokjin.

"Too many times," he muttered, looking at the board in front of them.

"I'm sorry," she frowned, voice soft and careful.

"It's okay. Whatever it takes to save them," he turned to her.

"I promise to help you as much as I can. You're not in this alone anymore," she gently smiled.

The words resonated and echoed through Seokjin's head. He hadn't realized how much he'd wanted to hear those words. That he wasn't alone anymore.

"Thank you," he offered a smile, to which Luna's eyes darted to. She'd seen his smile for the first time, warming her heart a bit.

"Nothing's going to happen until May tenth, when Hoseok is going to fall on the bridge and hit his head," he pointed at the sticky notes on the board. "Yoongi is going to try and burn his motel room again the same day, and I already know what to do."

"I'll come," Luna stated.

"No," Seokjin looked at her incredulously. "No way. It's way too dangerous."

"It's way too dangerous for you to keep walking into a room with fire!" she furrowed her eyebrows at him in protest.

"I'll be fine," he reassured her. "I've done it countless of times. So, between now and May tenth, nothing's going to happen."

"So... What do we do?" Luna asked curiously.

"Do you want to grab lunch right now? I'm kind of starving," he awkwardly chuckled, running a hand through his long brown hair.

"Sure," she laughed, and for the first time, Seokjin felt at ease knowing he was not in this alone.
