"Umm w-why are you here?"I stutter still in my state of shock as my three sisters Chloe who is 20, Casey who is 18 and Allison who is 15 stand in front of me
"Our trip to Russia got cancelled because of a snow storm so we came here to visit our family"Chloe shrieked
Chloe and Casey got this modeling offer 2 years ago from this Russian dude that owns a modeling agency soon after Allison joined in leaving me all alone with my parents who are hardly ever home when my mom is at modeling trips and my dad at work I'm at home all by myself for nearly 9 hours straight
"We also got presents" Allison shrieked excitedly
'But it isn't christmas' I thought
I see bags of clothes and I see...is that a thong?
"I like what you did with your hair little sis." Casey said to me...it was the first thing she said to me since christmas and it felt so good for her to talk to me we used to be so close before the modeling shit and when she left we hardly ever talked and so it felt like I was missing a huge part of me, she's like a chill, calm person and she is my favorite sister.
"Thanks" i murmur
After moments of awkward silence apart from a screeching and shrieking Chloe and Allison I get sleepy
"Umm guys," I say "do you mind if I go get some sleep I'm really tired"
"No of course not, Goodnight kiddo" Casey said
"Good night sis" I reply
I get to my room for a quick hot shower and I realize it's that time if the month again so I clean up, get dressed and go to bed having a dreamless sleep.
Monday. (Yes I'm skipping days because I am about that life .*) )
The bell goes signaling we have to minutes before 1st period starts so I walk to my first period sadly it's physics and we get new lab partners
Mr Payne walks in with a stern looking on face while all the chattering begins to quiet down, I notice Sydney isn't at school so she's probably sick.
Mr Payne does attendance and begins giving us partners and I hear my name called
"Miss Slovaniski you will be pairing up with miss Cástro"mr Payne says
"Que está emparejado conmigo" says a beautiful light skinned girl with dimples.
Noticing I don't understand a word she said she comes up to me and says
"Hey I'm Mariana and you are paired up with me" Mariana says
"Hi I'm Sam"i say
"Nice to meet you"she says
And we sit together at the far end of the class, we get a project and Mariana invites me to her house after school and I accept and we walk to her house, on our way Mariana's goofing around and she's actually really funny.
We get to her house that has this welcoming feeling with the tv playing a Spanish sitcom
"Pero Esmeralda te amo y tú sabes que yo hago así que porqué usted engañar a mí." "Sé Salvador y lo siento nunca voy a hacerlo de nuevo." Goes the tv as Mariana turns it down.
"Mamá estoy en casa"Mariana yells
"And I brought a friend"she continues
After some moments a beautiful Latina woman walks in looking like she in her thirties, she walks up to me and introduces herself
"Hi I'm Ms Cástro but call me Sofiá"she says
"I'm Sam in Mariana's lab partner and friend" I say and a smile appears on her face giving me a warm and welcome feeling all of a sudden a shirtless blonde boy with abs and a structured body walks in with a baby a little lighter that Mariana and kisses her on the forehead
Mariana must have noticed me staring and said
"This is Nathan my boyfriend and that little girl is charlie"
And I looked over to see the boys arms around the baby so lovingly while she was sleeping they looked so adorable
"She's your sister?" I didn't notice when the Words came out of my mouth and a light sweet chuckle came from Mariana as she answered
"No, she's our daughter"
And I did not realize my mouth was open until Nathan said
"Close your mouth you don't want to catch flies in it."
And Mariana quickly apologized for his behavior but I won't blame him it seemed so mean of me to just open my mouth
I took a long look at the baby she was beautiful her skin was beautiful and smooth and looked so soft with her rosy little mouth and little nose she looked perfect no doubt when she grows older she's going to be a boy magnet.
After a few hours of working i said my goodbyes and left.
