After I put some grey sweatpants on I walked back to the bathroom, Ghostface wasn't there.

"Ghostface?" I called out, I was hoping he wouldn't try to scare me again.

"I'm in the living room" I heard him reply

When I walked into the living room he was sitting on the couch leaning back.

"It looks like your getting comfortable" I said as I sat  down beside him.

"Not really, I just need to tell you something and I don't want you to be scared" He spoke as he sat up a bit.

A concerned look grew on my face, Why would I be afraid of him?

"Have you heard about the people being found dead in their homes?" He asked, He seemed oddly calm talking about this kind of stuff.

"uh yeah? It's all over the news.." I paused putting the pieces together.

Was that him? I never looked into the killings but I remember them saying something about the killer wearing a mask..

"w-was that you..?" I asked as my heart started beating faster. Was the town serial killer sitting right beside me?!

He laughed a bit,
"Great guess sweetheart" He said leaning back on the couch again.

I stood up,
"uh Ill be right back.." I needed to get out of there, a bad feeling was starting to form in my stomach.

He nodded but I didn't really pay much attention as I was quickly walking down the hallway to my room.

When I got there I quickly grabbed my phone and sat down on my bed, my plan was to see what kind of a mask the town killer wore. There's no way it's him, he would have killed me already.. right?

I opened google and quickly typed "Roseville killings" then I clicked on the top article. I scrolled down for a bit not finding any pictures of the killer, I only found information on how they would often take pictures with the body's after they brutally stabbed them to death. I scrolled down farther when suddenly a photo appeared.

I hesitated to look at it because there was already a notice that read "Some people may find this photo disturbing, viewers discretion is advised." I took a deep breath before tapping on the photo, My heart sank when I looked at it. The picture was taken from a security camera in one of the victims homes. There was blood everywhere but the only thing I could focus on was the man giving a thumbs up to the camera.

It was Ghostface.

"You alright? you look like you've seen a ghost"

I jumped at his words,  Ghostface was standing at my door way.

"yeah.. Im alright.." I said setting my phone down on the bed beside me.  I didn't know how to feel at this moment, I didn't know if I was in danger or what was happening.

He sat down on the bed beside me but I moved away from him a bit, Obviously he noticed.

"What's wrong?" he asked reaching up and pushing a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"nothings wrong" I said while looking down.

His hand moved to my chin tilting my head up to look into the eyes of the ghost mask again, The same way he did earlier that evening.

"Don't worry I won't hurt you" He said in a convincing tone, "I wouldn't want to hurt a pretty thing like you"

Butterfly's erupted in my stomach because of his words, If he is a killer why does he make me feel like this?

It's late you should go to sleep" He stated while pointing at the clock on my bedside table, It read 2:46 am.

"Yeah.." I said as I could now feel how tired I actually was. His hand was now on the side of my face and I was leaning into it like i'd known him for a long time.

He helped me get ready for bed before turning off the light for me.  I didn't think twice before falling asleep,  I was too tired I couldn't keep my eyes open.
