Getting off the boat was easy for most of the people, that is, unless you were tasked to carry and unconscious Thomas down the ramp. That was Newt and Frypan's job. The medical tent was the first thing put up in the entire camp and that was Thomas's first stop. Teresa trailed behind the boys, obviously not willing to leave the boy's side yet.
They dragged him along and finally made it to the tent. They quickly dropped the boy onto the makeshift bed and then Teresa pulled a blanket over Thomas. Fry looked over to Newt and gave him a nudge, telling him that they should help set up the camp. With that, they both left the unconscious Thomas with Teresa.
"This is amazing." Fry said as he and Newt surveyed the land. It was a calming sandy beach, just like their old camp, except much cleaner. There were no sunken tanker ships and no littered debris, only clean white sand and a calming ocean. Towards the middle of the land was a massive forest filled with green trees and grass that was actually alive.
"Yes it is." Newt said silently as he watched the people of the Right Arm unpack the ship of the materials.
"Well, let's help set up camp." Fry suggested, patting Newt on the back. The boy nodded and walked through their newfound home. And though most of it seemed perfect, the only thing missing was you.

Newt was helping Gally with building the canopies. It had been a few hours since they had gotten to the Safe Haven and it was even better than he could have imagined. Everyone was so happy in this new environment, everyone who walked by Newt had giant smiles and excited energy. Energy that Newt envied. It was as if every time he thought of you, his energy lowered.
Everyone was helping to set up the new camp and that helped speed it up. Newt had decided to help Gally with the building but he couldn't find Minho anywhere. Newt wanted to talk to him, wanted to have a real conversation with his friend. But hanging out with Gally wasn't so bad, though, he was very quiet. Newt didn't mind that, he liked having Gally's presences, he didn't need to talk to him.
Both Gally and Newt pushed up the last wooden pole and the last canopy was finished. They were large thick logs and a giant cream tarp flung over to provide shade. It wasn't perfect but it was pretty good considering what materials they had lying around. Newt backed up along with Gally to take a good look at their work.
"Looks pretty good." Gally said and Newt nodded.
"Yup." Newt responded quietly, but he was distracted by someone walking up from the corner of his eye. Both he and Gally turned and watched as Minho, Brenda, Jorge, Fry, and Aris started walking towards a boy in a navy blue shirt. The boy looked pretty beaten up but he was walking just fine. Newt sighed with relief, an actual smile stretching across his face as he looked at the boy.
"Tommy." Newt said and Gally laughed, relief etched in his voice.
"You better go say hello." Gally said and Newt turned to look at him.
"Your coming too Gally." Newt told him but he shook his head.
"Nah, he doesn't want to see me, you go." Gally told him but the blondie shook his head, grabbing the boy's arm and pulling him over to the group surrounding Thomas. He didn't know why, but he felt this responsibility for Gally. Maybe it was because he used to be second in command, but really he knew it was because Gally was your brother and you would have wanted someone to take care of him.
The moment Thomas came face to face with Minho, the two engulfed each other in a massive hug. Newt released Gally and walked over to his two friends. The moment Thomas and the blondie met eyes, his eyes widened as he released Minho and surprised Newt with a tight embrace and Newt could see the tears forming.
"The last time I saw you..." Thomas started, but Newt cut him off.
"It doesn't matter Tommy." Newt told him, tightening his grip. "It's okay." He then said, but his tone made that hard to believe. The two became three when Minho joined once again. The three hugged each other tighter. He's alive. Thomas is alive.
"Thank god Tommy." Newt's muffled voice said through the embrace. The three boys backed up a little so that they were all facing each other.
"Welcome to the Safe Haven Greenie." Minho smiled lightly and Thomas tried to smile through his tears.
"I just wish everyone was here." Thomas said and then the boys went in for one more big embrace. That embrace, however, went from three to four and from four to five and from five to six and from six to seven. They all held each other tightly. Missing their eight.
