Ash and Lillie headed toward the Pokemon center after their battle with Kahuna Nanu. "I've heard that the Poni Island gives you all of the Z-crystals. So then you can have the Firium-Z for your Charizard, Waterium-Z for your Greninja, and Electrium-Z for Pikachu" Lillie said, excited about the prospect of going to Poni Island. Ash was, however, maintaining a serious expression. "All those legendries. It was due to us that they were mad. The reason? I ain't no fool to tell ya." The words of the team skull grunt that he had allowed to go echoed in his mind. Lillie noticed Ash's serious expression, and knew that something was off. "Ash, what's wrong?" Lillie asked as she wrapped her arm around Ash's shoulder. "You see, Lillie, remember all the Legendries that we encountered?" Ash asked. "Yeah, what about them?" Lillie asked with a tone of concern. "The other day, when Mallow's Steenee was attacked by an aerial fleet of team skull, I had battled them. However, during the final battle, The leader of the fleet said that Team Skull was responsible for the irate legendries. Since I know that Team Skull is evil and want to destroy Alola, I think that unlike other teams that I have encountered, these guys could have a solid chance of success." Ash said. "Wait..... Team Skull has Legendries, and these Legendries went on a rampage..... But Ash, weren't you able to beat all of them?" Lillie asked. "They came one by one, Lillie. If they were to fully carry out their plan as a massive raid, of course I wouldn't have enough power and resources. That is the reason why I am worried. No amount of training can make my Pokemon be able to stand up to a horde of legendries." Ash said. Lillie also thought about it, becoming more and more concerned by the moment. However, their train of thoughts was interrupted as they subconsciously walked into the Pokemon center and were greeted by Nurse Joy. Ash greeted her back and Gave her his Lucario. She took his Lucario and put him inside the general battle injuries room, and went inside. Ash then booked a room for two, and they sat down on their beds. It was at this point, however, that Ash's mobile rang. He looked in and saw that it was from Kiawe. He picked up the phone and put it to his ear. "Hey Kiawe, how is it going?" Ash asked. "Ash, There's been some weird happenings going on in our area. Mele-Mele island is having periodical tremors every now and then. The most concerning thing is that Mele-Mele is not normally supposed to have quakes at all. " Kiawe said. "Huh, weird. Alright, I think I can take a detour. See ya at Mele-Mele. Ash said, and cut the call. "What happened? Why are we going to Mele-Mele?" Lillie asked. "Kiawe says that there are periodical tremors going on over there. He suspects that it might have something to do with another legendry, and called me. I don't think we should ignore this, Lillie. " Ash said. They waited until Lucario was completely healed, and then headed off toward the airport for a flight to Mele-Mele. They booked a ticket, and headed off to Mele-Mele island.

The flight uneventfully touched down onto the runway at Mele-Mele, and Ash and Lillie got off at the terminal. Ash was thinking about finding a motel to stay at temporarily, but Lillie was having none of it and invited him to stay at her house for the time being. They reached Lillie's house, which was a grand, sprawling mansion. The Mercedes that Lillie knew all too well was parked in the driveway that connected the entrance to the exit. The few small steps in front of the house led to the front door. Inside the mansion were sprawling, spacious rooms. In short, the house was extremely big, and decorated with a lot of different paintings, flower vases and more. "I'm probably gonna bet a 100 Poke-Dollars on the fact that during the school days, you must have lived like a Queen, Lillie. I seriously cannot understand how you got accustomed to the Pokemon center's musty rooms when you live here." Ash said. Lillie just giggle at his expression. They sat down on the couch in the hall, and Ash texted his friends to join them in the house. During their wait, Ash was getting bored and struck up a conversation. "Hey Lillie, who else lives here other than Hobbes, anyway. Like, don't you have any family living with you or something?" Ash asked. Lillie's expression turned a little sad. Ash noticed and replied from what he understood. "It's okay, no need to tell me about it if it traumatizes you. I do know how it feels to lose a close one. " Ash said. Lillie, however, was a little surprised. "Huh? You lost a family member? They didn't die or anything..... But I'm sorry about whoever you have lost." Lillie said. "It's ok. I currently don't have any parents or relatives. My only ties with myself right now are my ex-travelling companions and travelling companions." Ash said. "I see.... My mother Lusamine is a total workaholic. She is the CEO of the Aether Foundation. She does love me but due to her workaholic nature, she just fails to give time to me. My brother, Gladion, ran away from home while we were about 13. My father has mysteriously disappeared while I was young....." Lillie said. Before their conversation could move forward, they felt the small tremor that Kiawe had talked about. The tremor, however, didn't seem like it was small, but it didn't damage the house. The plates in the kitchen rattled, the paintings swayed and a few vases tipped over due to the tremor. "So this was what kiawe was talking about...." Ash said as Hobbes went around the house, putting everything back in order. Soon, the doorbell rang and Ash opened it to find all of his friends from school. "Hey there, guys!" Ash said, as they entered the house. However, their faces wore worried looks, and Ash knew why. "I know, it happened again." He said. Kiawe nodded, and they went into a long discussion about the tremors, which then shifted into how Ash's grand trials and battles were going. Finally, after everyone told what they had to tell, Ash and Lillie went with Hobbes in their Mercedes to drop off their friends at the Motel they lived at. They arrived at the motel and everyone settled into their rooms. However, Hobbes had to go and run an errand, so he went away and left the others at the Motel. Ash and Lillie talked a little more with their friends, and began leaving the motel. Ash and Lillie were discussing about the fun time that they had with their friends, but their conversation was now interrupted by yet another tremor. after continuing for a minute or so, Lillie started to get a little uncomfortable. "Ash, why, isn't the tremor stopping?" Lillie asked, fear creeping into her voice. "It'll stop soon, Lillie. " Ash replied. However, the tremors instead just got stronger. "Ok, Lillie, now we need to get out of here!" Ash said, as he began running toward the doorway. However, cracks formed in the doorway, and then the pieces began falling. Ash knew that trying to exit through the doorway was suicidal, and so ran in the opposite direction. The roof above the doorway collapsed, blocking the doorway. The shaking became more intense, and the windowpanes shattered. The main pillars supporting the motel had also begun to crack. Out of the four pillars, two on the left side gave way, making the Motel tip over to the right. The other two pillars collapsed due to the extreme amount of weight, and made the motel finally collapse into a flat  plane of rubble. The last thing Ash and Lillie saw and felt was the floor beneath them give way, and then a sharp pain in the head as they were knocked out and trapped under the rubble.

Ash woke up after being out for about five minutes. He expected some of his bones to be broken, but surprisingly, none were. He then looked over toward where Lillie was. She was having a little trouble getting up. "Lillie, are you okay?!" Ash said as he ran over to Lillie. He got to her just as she was getting up, and gave her a hand. They then searched for their Pokemon, whom they found with ease. However, they were knocked out, and Ash gave them an Oran berry to restore their health, and then went, looking for what had caused this. "Now Pikachu and the others would have definitely been able to protect themselves from the falling rubble with their attacks. Besides, if they were to be actually knocked out due to rubble, there would be cuts and bruises all over their body. Since none of these are true, the only possible explanation is that This earthquake was no normal earthquake. It was an attack by a ground type legendry....." Ash said. Lillie froze in fear. "Another legendry going wild.... This is a response that will be extremely hard to beat." Lillie added. "Hmm.... " Ash was thinking, when all of a sudden, a convoy of cars came through. "That has to be team skull!" Ash said as he pulled Lillie behind a boulder. The convoy passed. Ash could think about just one possible explanation. "Team skull..... Lillie, get the keys to your car. I will need to tail this convoy!" Ash said. Lillie handed the keys and they both got in. Ash backed up the Mercedes, revved the engine, and raced toward the convoy, dodging the rubble lining the roads. He finally caught up with the convoy, and followed it at a safe distance. He then decided to turn away from it. he then fished into the glovebox, and found a G18 pistol lying in it. "Ok then... I'm ready." Ash said, as he held the steering wheel in the right hand and the pistol in the left. The convoy passed in front of them, and Ash turned to face the back of the convoy. He pretended to drive normally, but then rolled down his window. Lillie first looked distressed, but then decided that he should assault the convoy the way he had planned, for the team skull grunts deserved to die after what they had done. Ash revved the engine again, put the car into second gear, and the car shot forward with the powerful engine roaring like a beast. "Get ready to be clipped, you f*cks!" Ash said, as he aimed the pistol at the rear tire of the first car and fired the first round.
