A Huge Revelation

Ash drove along the tunnels, not wanting to be spotted. No-one really did spot him, for they were too busy with their work. "Damn.... I think this place is like an underground supply house! These guys make their own Poke balls, uniforms are minted here, Even these guys have living quarters!" Ash said as he looked around. He then entered a part of the tunnel with no people inside it, and continued driving. Clemont was again tinkering in the back seat, while Lillie was also looking around for an exit from the tunnel, which was extremely musty. The lighting of the tunnel suddenly stopped, and Ash had to turn on the headlights to see the way. Clemont, was not bothered by the dark, and continued tinkering. "The Future is now, thanks to science!! Clemontic gear on! This device is called the LiDAR pathfinder! It will produce sound waves at extremely high frequency, and will detect any exits from this tunnel. Ash, open the sunroof, will ya?" Clemont shouted excitedly as he revealed his invention. "Finally, an interesting name.... Bonnie had some effect on you, I see?" Ash joked. Clemont was about to protest but then Ash gave Clemont one of his death glares and made him shut up. He then opened the sunroof, only for Clemont to silently mount the machine without question. Once the LiDAR pathfinder was installed, Ash closed the sunroof. Clemont then turned on a radar screen that detected both heat and the distance between the sensor and the object. "Ash, a strong heat signature is coming from somewhere. It is seemingly stationary, but we are rapidly heading towards it. I suggest that we slow down and wait for the object to show itself in our headlight beams. " Clemont said. Ash just gassed the car, throwing Clemont back into his seat, knocking the radar screen right into his face. "How's that for an answer?" Ash said and continued driving. A few moments later, the heat signature had come extremely close to the car. A shape appeared in Ash's headlights. The shape was of an SUV.  Or, to be precise, a damaged SUV that they knew all too well. "The Citroen.... I think his radiator must have overheated...." Clemont said. They searched the car for any valuable information, but nothing really was there. "This guy doesn't have much high value information... taking him as an HVT is not wise..... Let's continue searching this tunnel." Ash said as he began down the tunnel again and finally reached a more discreet-looking room. Ash stopped the car in front of the door so as to block anyone trying to escape. He then entered the room, and crept around. Lillie and Clemont were following Ash's lead, and tried to remain unnoticed. Finally, the guards to the area came up. Ash brought out Pikachu, who was now preferring to sit inside the Pokewatch. "Alright, Pikachu.... Iron tail both of them and knock them out!" Ash whispered and Pikachu instantly responded. He jumped out, and gave a small "Pika!" as his tail bore down onto the head of the guards and they fell to the floor. He then discreetly opened the door and motioned Lillie and Clemont to follow him. Inside the room they entered were multiple scientists who were working on a computer. In front of them was a high-strength glass that separated them from the actual room in which the base of operations was present. The base looked like something Lillie knew. "Oh no.... This can't be real....." Lillie said as Ash gave her a questioning look. "I think I know what this place is......" She said and Ash was now more deeply interested. However, he was also was concerned, because Lillie's face now showed a lot of fear. "Ash.... I was looking around the tunnel mainly because this entire system was familiar to me...... This is the Aether Foundation in which my mother works in!" Lillie said as she began tearing up a bit. Ash, however, calmed her down. "It's okay, Lillie. Your mother is just fine..... But the problem might be that she might be mixed with Team Skull, which could be a huge problem. But I think I can assure you that that is not the case." Ash said and they continued their sneaking. Lillie now led the way, for her mother had often brought her along while she was little. The group exited the room that was full of scientists, and this led to a server room. "All the data is over here! Clemont, perform a scan! we might find something interesting!" Ash said as Clemont plugged in a thumb drive into the main server switch. "Weird..... The data is not constant. At first, the data is not malicious, but then later, it suddenly turns corrupted. All these files are seemingly censored and can only be viewed by the people who know the password to access this private data. Something is wrong here." Clemont said and they continued snooping. Another set of guards appeared and Ash made quick work of them again. Ash had now entered a room full of prison cells. "The rooms are the same but the arrangements are definitely not.... We didn't even have a prison cell." Lillie said. "Clemont, can we have a bot which is a camera mounted drone? I need it to be small and unnoticeable but still giving a good image." Ash said and Clemont tinkered with a few bits and Pieces of later. Moments later, the machine was ready and Ash allowed the bot to move and check all the inmates. It kept on showing the video feed, and Lillie was anxiously waiting, hoping that no-one that she knows shows up. However, she was out of luck, for as soon as the robot moved over to cell number 8, Lillie saw exactly what she had hoped wouldn't happen. Inside the cell was Gladion, her brother, and her mother, Lusamine. "No...... Mom, brother... Why?!" Lillie began crying while Ash tried to comfort her. Clemont was instead running his bot through more of the cells and finally exited the room. He explored around the building, but found it to be suspiciously empty. He went through more rooms, before turning to Ash, beside whom was a flushing red Lillie, for they had gone red from all the crying. "Ash, I find that this building is suspiciously empty. No-one that we don't know or expect over here is actually here. " Clemont said. Ash decided to go ahead and move on with the raid. "Clemont, release an EMP bust and disconnect all the power. " Ash said as Clemont pulled out an EMP switch and pressed it. The power went out immediately, and Ash, Lillie and Clemont silently crossed in front of the cells. They Then walked through the hallways as Clemont shone a torch to detect anyone. Ash had Pikachu on standby, ready to attack. Lillie had now taken out Vulpix, who was also ready to attack. They then reached a control room of sorts, where a huge amount of switches were present on a panel. However, Ash saw something that alarmed him instantly. There was a red light glowing on screen. And the writing on it read 'Self-Destruct'. "Shit, We've been set up!" Ash shouted as Clemont and Lillie looked on in alarm. "They have set this base to self destruct in about......" Ash trailed off as he looked at the screen. "Precisely two minutes! Clemont, hack the system and shut it down!" Ash yelled As he then commanded Pikachu to get off his shoulder and get ready for battle. Ash looked around for any possible threats, but saw none. Lillie was now extremely tensed. "Clemont, please hack into the system fast. This is my mother's life's work, and I do not want it getting destroyed along with her!" Lillie pleaded to Clemont as he nodded, while his computer screen showed lines of code as he began the process. He whipped out a screwdriver, and took out the motherboard of the control panel. He then hooked up his computer to it. "Ash, we are now immobile. In order to allow the hacking process to run smoothly, you will now need to protect my position." Clemont said as Ash nodded. "Lillie, since you are also part of this operation, why don't you also help to defend Clemont's position?" Ash asked and Lillie instantly nodded. The first grunt came in. "Pikachu, thunderbolt!" Ash said as Pikachu fired a bolt of lightning that screamed across the room and hit the Salandit of the first grunt head on. However, the Salandit was able to survive the hit, and continue battling. "Salandit, poison jab!" The grunt said as the Salandit began running toward Pikachu. "Iron tail that away!" Ash said as Pikachu instantly turned his tail into the all too familiar silver glint, and then smashed into the purple fist of poison. The Salandit lost his balance, and rolled over, unable to control his momentum. "Pikachu, use iron tail to knock him into the air!" Ash said and Pikachu went ahead and knocked Salandit into the air. "Now jump using quick attack, ram into him and send him toward the grunt!" Ash yelled out and Pikachu instantly sent the Salandit flying toward the grunt. The Salandit smashed into the grunt smack in the face, and The grunt was knocked out. All of a sudden, a war cry of 'We are prepared to die for our cause!' came from outside the room. All of a sudden, a loud explosion rang out through the room, as a C4 explosive blew a hole into the wall of the control unit. This also slowed down Clemont in his process, due to lack of visibility. However, Lillie had an idea and implemented it quickly. "Snowy, use Ice Beam and Pikachu, hit the Ice beam with Thunderbolt to melt it!" Lillie said. The immense heat of the thunderbolt melted the ice beam's ice in moments as both Pokemon fired their attacks. Water sprayed across the room and cleared up the visibility problem and the battle continued. "Pikachu, now use Thunderbolt along with quick attack!" Ash said, hoping to bring back an epic move that Pikachu used to have. Pikachu understood his master's orders. He tried to incorporate an electrical effect in his quick attack, and was slowly turning yellow. The yellow then suddenly flashed bright, as Pikachu was able to re-learn Volt tackle. The Volt tackle was deadly, and took out multiple Pokemon, and Ash was already thinking that he might have just won it. However, he was instead disappointed to know that there were yet more grunts to tackle, and that he hadn't finished the job. However, at this moment, Lillie decided to take charge. Snowy, ice beam!" Lillie Commanded, as Snowy released a beam of ice, as a Salandit was frozen rock solid and was unable to move. A few grunts now pulled out Crobats, and they used air slash to counter the oppressive force of Ash's Pikachu and Lillie's Vulpix. "Vulpix, Aurora vail!" Lillie said as Vulpix covered herself in a translucent veil, and blocked out the attacks. "Ok, Vulpix, Ice Fang! Ash, cover me!" Lillie said as Vulpix began running toward the Crobats, her mouth glowing an icy white. Every now and then, an air slash or a wing attack would be blocked out by a thunderbolt, and smoke was produced or the Crobats fell out of the sky. Snowy had now reached close enough, and she jumped into the air and began her assault on the Crobats. The first Crobat that was hit developed the freeze status ailment, and was frozen rock solid and fell out of the sky. "Pikachu, your time to shine! Thunderbolt" Ash commanded as Pikachu used his signature move and knocked out a Salandit on the ground. "Quick attack to get there, we do not want recoil damage, alright?" Ash said and Pikachu headed over to the heat of the battle at top speed. He slammed face-first into a Salazzle, wo was knocked off balance. "Shit, they've pulled out the big guns!" Ash said, as he watched the Salazzle prepare a sludge bomb. "Pikachu, iron tail directly into the face, now!" Ash said and Pikachu smacked the Salazzle across the face, causing her to fall down. "Electro tail!" Ash said and Pikachu's tail crackled with electricity, and paralyzed the Salazzle.  The Salazzle fainted immediately with the electro tail, for it had faced three strong attacks from Pikachu. "I have Access into their system! I have shut down the self destruct function permanently!" Clemont shouted as Ash and Lillie cheered. However, just as things seemed to be going their way, Snowy was poisoned. "Snowy!" Lillie shouted out in concern as she saw the teeth of a Salandit sink into her skin. The Teeth were colored purple, indicating the use of poison fang. "Pikachu, get snowy he-" Ash was about to say when he was completely surrounded, and a grunt then pulled out a gun and put it to Lillie's head. "Comply with my orders or she dies." The grunt threatened as he wrapped his arm around Lillie's neck, making her head immobile. Ash instantly called back Pikachu, who was also looking on in worry. "Boys, put them in the cell along with the founding members. They are HVTs. Boss is going to be so happy once he knows what we have done." Also, take the geek's computer and search for any sensitive information on us. And yes, impound the car that they came in. I think boss would like a brand new Mercedes." The grunt said, as Ash, Lillie and Clemont were escorted into the cell in which Lusamine and Gladion were contained. Gladion and Lusamine went completely wide-eyed as soon as they saw Lillie. They put her, Ash and Clemont down onto the ground in a rough manner, and then locked the cell door and left. They then locked the door of the cell and left. "Are you okay, Lillie?" Ash asked, being the first one to speak. Lillie just broke down and wept into Ash's chest while Ash wrapped an arm around her to comfort her. Lusamine and Gladion were too dumbfounded by the presence of Lillie to say anything, and were only looking at the scene unfolding in front of them. Finally, Lillie calmed down, and They all just sat in the Cell, completely frustrated. Ash's Pokewatch and Pikachu had been taken away from him, and the same was true for Snowy. They just stared into the ceiling in a frustrated manner, with Clemont giving only a small smirk when a grunt cursed and yelled about the self destruct button not working. However, he knew that he had only bought them time, rather than saved them. They would be dying sooner or later due to the self destruct. Lillie, Ash, and Clemont were, however, too tired to groan and complain about them getting locked up, and instead fell asleep.
