Ash fired the first bullet and the round escaped the chamber. The sound was quite loud, and thus made Ash and Lillie flinch. However, The bullet found its mark, i.e, the rear left tire of the last car in the Team Skull convoy. It was complete chaos. The tire deflated, and the gunshot was heard by the convoy, sending them into panic mode. They immediately hit the gas and gained speed. Not to be outdone, Ash stepped on the throttle and gave chase. The car whose tire was still able to hold up a bit, but Ash knew that he could easily cause it to lose control. He aimed a second shot toward the front tire and fired again. The bullet found its target again, but it also hit the rim along with the tire and deformed it. Ash pulled up to the side of the other car, which was trying to limp to safety, and gave it a slight nudge so as to not damage his own vehicle. The other car began to spin. The driver tried some evasive maneuvers but they were useless. He crashed right into a pile of rubble, and rolled over. Ash was satisfied with the result and moved on with the rest of the convoy. "They wouldn't send convoys if they weren't carrying something valuable! Go ahead and try to find out which car it is that the convoy is protecting!" Lillie said. "Good Idea" Ash said, as he swerved out of the line of the convoy vehicles and checked. he saw two vehicles getting extremely close to a vehicle, and Ash could clearly see that if he even tried to collide into the vehicle, the other two could instantly counter-attack. "Ok, Lillie, I found it, thanks for your help!" Ash said, as he then shifted the car into a higher gear and began building up speed. "Pikachu, I need you here. Onto my shoulder!" Ash said as Pikachu jumped onto Ash's shoulder. Ash was right about having to use Pikachu, for Pikachu had to shock and destroy multiple cars that tried to keep Ash away from the main car. Finally, he reached the three cars which were the most important in the convoy. He made contact with the car behind the main car that needed protection, and then began pushing him toward the side of the road. although the other driver tried to counter the movement and get back on track, he couldn't. Ash had pushed him right into a building that was almost destroyed by the previous quake. The car slammed headfirst into the wall, turning it into a piece of crushed metal. The car that was important to the convoy was now exposed. A turn came up, and all three cars tried to turn at their fastest speed. However, there was one small problem. The road that all of them had turned toward was having a huge amount of rubble lying here and there on the road. Thus, all cars were now locked in a high-speed slalom, with the two other cars trying to get rid of Ash and vice-versa. Ash managed to find a place where he would be able to get a clear shot at the first car and released another round. the bullet missed, but it also distracted the driver during an important corner. The car plummeted into the rubble, and was launched into the air with a tilt. The car had a harsh landing, as the front-right wheel touched down first. The car then grinded its front bumper in the ground, making it pitch forward, making the car go into a vertical roll. The back hit the ground and the car launched itself into the air again. So much was the force of the roll, that the driver was ejected from the car via the windshield. finally, with both cars eliminated, Ash had one final car to eliminate. The road turned again, making both cars now go into a wide, clear, dual-lane road. Both of them were now approaching their top-speeds, and Ash slowly began to catch up. Finally, both cars were side-by-side. Ash puled out the Glock, and took the kill. The car slowed to a stop, as the driver bled out, leaning on the horn. A bullet was lodged right in his head, and his eyes were lifeless. Ash stopped his car, and went to check for anything important. He checked the dead man's pockets, but found nothing. neither did he find anything in the front and back seats. However, as soon as he opened the boot, he found a briefcase. He opened it to find multiple blueprints.  Ash took the briefcase and walked back to Lillie's car. Ash also read some of the other parts of different documents and blueprints and found out more information. As he reached the car, he put the briefcase in the boot and turned toward Lillie. "Ok, So there's good news and there's bad news. Which one do you want first?" Ash asked. "The Good news first." Lillie answered quickly. "Team Skull has only one legendary Pokemon. The others were ticked off as collateral damage for their actions. " Ash said. Lillie sighed with relief. "Now the bad news. They have Arceus. That is their one legendary. And they are extremely close to being able to fully control him. But the problem? Since they already have Arceus, the chances of me beating them are just simply zero." Ash sighed and banged his head on the steering wheel. Lillie held his hand and squeezed it, getting his attention. " Ash, Both of us know that you might not be able to defeat Arceus and team skull. But know this one thing. I will always believe in you." Lillie said, and then wrapped her arm around Ash's shoulder. "Thanks, Lillie. " Ash said as he cheered up and started the engine, and drove home to Lillie's house. They entered the minorly damaged building and sat down on the couch. Ash then whipped out his mobile and dialed a number. The phone began ringing. "Ash, who are you calling?" Lillie asked. "An old friend of mine.... He could just as well be extremely useful in this situation that we have over here." Ash said as the person on the other side of the line picked up. "Hello, who's there? the person asked. "Hey Clemont, it's me, Ash." Ash answered. " Hey Ash! Long time no see, mate. So, how's things going?" Clemont asked and Ash decided to take his chance here. "Not good, buddy. Some random fellas who think that they are worth a dime to the world have taken control over Arceus. The thing is, they are using a machine to combine the plates. However, I have the blueprints to that machine. So how about you come over to Alola at Mele-Mele island, and we can discuss how to reverse-engineer the machine in the blueprint over a cup of tea?" Ash asked. "Sure, I'll be leaving as soon as possible. I'll probably reaching by today. Bye." Clemont said as he cut the call. "Alright, then. My friend Clemont here is a guy I met in my Kalos journey. Since we are dealing with a machine here, I called him in so that we both could go ahead and discuss this blueprint. You see, Clemont is extremely good with machines. He loves to tinker with them, and will probably be able to tinker his way through this one too." Ash said. " That's great!" Lillie exclaimed and they chit-chatted, waiting for Clemont to arrive.
