The Beginning of The Raid

Ash and Lillie woke up in the morning in each other's arms. As soon as they found out what was going on, they immediately got off the bed, intensely blushing. Clemont gave out a groan and a yawn as he got up, suffering sleepiness due to jet lag. He, however, picked himself up, and got off his bed. " Had a good night's sleep, Clemont?" Ash asked, worried about the dark circles around Clemont's eyes. "Nah..... I have some serious jet-lag issues down here, man. " Clemont said out loud. "I think we can handle whatever we will be doing today?" Ash asked, now concerned about his friend's state. "No.... The operation will not be compromised by my bad sleep schedule..... I'll .......Be fine..... Don't worry.... *yawn*......" Clemont's body finally gave way, and he fell face first into the ground. Ash winced as he saw Clemont fall. "God.... That must've hurt......" Ash said As Lillie entered the room. "Ash, what happened? Why is he on the floor?"  Lillie asked. "Relax, he's not dead..... He's just had some bad sleep and so he's gone back into dreamland...." Ash said as both of them exited the room, leaving Clemont with some time to sleep. They instead got breakfast ready, and went over their plan one more time. Clemont came in a few minutes later, feeling much better after the nap. "How Long was I out for, Ash?" Clemont asked, clearly looking embarrassed since he had found himself face first into the ground when he woke up. "You went out for about ten minutes or so..... We can commence operations now, right?" Ash asked and Clemont nodded. "Let's just hope that you won't sleep again during our operation, or else we'll need to carry your heavy body all the way to the main room and then wake you up." Ash joked. Clemont just nodded, still sleepy. "Alright, then. How about we get started?" Ash asked and Clemont gained access into the thumbprint scanners. He plugged in a device, took a fingerprint sample off the briefcase, and inserted it into the device. Data popped up on the screen, and revealed the person too be a James D. Smith. The address came up, and Ash searched it up in his Google maps. He entered the location, but the problem, was that it was an apartment. " Shit.... I need a car number, Clemont." Ash said As Clemont pulled up his plate number details. "Alright, So his car is a Silver colored Citroen C5 Aircross..... I think the Mercedes GLA 200 AMG is more than capable of being able to keep up with that guy. His Plate number is G35-5578.  So if you see a Citroen Aircross... C5, which is an SUV, with the license plate number as G35-5578, tail it and see where the car goes, and then mark that location on your map. Don't get too close, because I believe your car is well known among the team skull grunts. Since It is already about 8:30AM, I'd rather suggest that we set out so that we can locate him and tail him.  If anything goes south, try to perform evasive maneuvers, crash him out enough that he can't move, and then detain him for interrogation. Take Pikachu along.... he could be of great help. " Clemont said as Ash called Pikachu, who came immediately. Lillie called in snowy, who instantly jumped into her lap. Clemont collected all his Poke balls and got into the rear seats, opening his laptop to give everything one last check. Ash made sure everyone had gotten in, and began the short trip to the city neighboring to Hau'oli city. They had arrived at a small looking apartment, its residents probably oblivious to the fact that there was a team skull grunt living amongst them. Soon, a weird-looking SUV matching the description that Clemont had given them, drove out the gate. Ash started the car and began the tailing. As they were moving along, Ash found that the road was leading out of town. As they got to the outskirts, a Police check post came up. The team skull grunt stopped his car hesitatingly, and Ash stopped right behind him. "Clemont, mint a fake license for me, now!" Ash commanded in a panicky tone behind him. Clemont made quick work of the driver's licenses, And handed Ash the driver's license. The Police had seemingly taken interest in the team skull grunt, since they seemed to be asking more questions than what they normally did. The officer asked the grunt for his license, which he was seemingly hesitating. The grunt was looking around nervously, and suddenly noticed the car that was all too feared by all of team skull. They had wanted too take down the owner, Ash, but he was simply too powerful. Their plans were also jeopardized, due to Ash getting a hold of the blueprints for the machine that was crucial to their plan.  Also, the Mercedes that he drove created general panic among all grunts ever since the brutal convoy assault. As soon as the grunt saw the Mercedes right behind him, he instantly panicked, and hit the accelerator. The cop who was waiting on him to give his driver's license for inspection jumped away from the car to avoid himself from being run over, yelling the highway patrol to give chase immediately. The two highway patrol cars parked on the side of the road came to life, and inside the cars were to officers, with a Manectric and an Arcanine in their back seat. Ash instantly hit the gas, not wanting to lose sight of the grunt. "Shit! He's Spooked!" Ash yelled as he drove right forward. "Clemont, pull up a police scanner! We'll probably be wanted for this!" Ash said as Clemont changed the software to the Police scanner. He tapped into the radio chatter of the police, just as the BOLO was being put out. "Officers, be advised, suspects are driving a Citroen C5-Aircross, and a Mercedes GLA 200 AMG." The operator spoke into the radio. A few "roger that" Messages went across, and sirens blared and lights flashed behind them. Ash, however, was undisturbed by this and continued tailing the C5 relentlessly. "We need to get to him!" Lillie said over the roar of the engine, as Ash slowly closed the gap between himself and the Citroen. Ash looked ahead of the Citroen he was tailing, and saw a Police roadblock. "Oh hell no...." Ash said, and continued following the Citroen, like a Lion chasing its prey. Both engines were pushed to their limits, as they swerved and weaved around traffic. Both drivers then found a route through the off-road areas, and took it. Ash oversteered a little bit, causing the car to go into a drift, but he corrected it before anything went wrong. The first corner came at a sharp angle of ninety degrees. Ash performed a small pendulum drift through the corner, and continued the case. He found that this would be continuing for quite a while. A large crest was coming up, but the main problem was that it was mid-corner. Both parties didn't mind, and went over it at full throttle. Clemont and Lillie had now begun to Panic, back in the Mercedes. "Ash, slow down! You'll crash!" Clemont shouted at the top of his voice. Ash drifted the Merc into the direction of the fast corner, and went up the crest. He went airborne for a short while, while the Citroen before him had chosen to slow down. Having a car with both better performance and carrying more speed, Ash jumped back down onto the road, now rapidly closing the gap. another turn came up, which was a 180 degrees this time.  They both went around it at top speed, and were now going down a straight path. However, it was exactly at this moment that Ash saw lights flash behind him, and sirens fill the air, as a police car had finally made it to him and the grunt in his Citroen. Ash couldn't afford to get caught, and so, continued driving at top speed. He finally began to see an end to the dirt trail, merging back into the paved road. The grunt had almost reached the end of the dirt trail, when all of a sudden, a Police car came right in his way. It crashed into the side of the vehicle, making it go onto two wheels. It hit the ground with its right headlight hitting the ground first, making the car cartwheel over the road. It ploughed into another police car, crushing it, and finally did a front flip with the bonnet hitting the ground and flying open. The bumper was crushed and then expanded, which made it fly off the car. Both headlights were cracked, and thus, unusable. The car, though it looked like a wreck, was still running and gave out a huge amount of smoke. Ash drifted the Mercedes toward the direction the Citroen was facing, expecting the Citroen to come back to life and continue running. The Citroen continued the chase, the Mercedes now closer than ever. A news chopper and a police helicopter was now following them, so they knew that this chase was live. The Citroen took a diversion to the left, which Ash followed. Now they were a once quiet lane, for it was now bustling with sirens and the sounds of chopper blades. The Citroen now headed toward what looked like a rundown warehouse, and burst in through the doors. The police tried to follow suit, but a metal barrier immediately fell, forcing them to end the chase. They instead blocked the exit, and waited for the Citroen to come out. But what the Police hadn't noticed is that the chase was still on inside the warehouse.

Ash POV

I went ahead and decided to follow the Citroen into the warehouse, since he might as well be cornered over there. However, as soon as the tin shutters were burst through, there was a loud bang from behind me, as I made it through the doors of the warehouse just in time to avoid getting crushed by a drop-gate of heavy iron. I, however, saw that this warehouse was no warehouse.... It was a secret underground system of tunnels. I stopped the Mercedes and Looked at the Citroen go down through the ramp heading into the underground system. I then finally looked over toward Clemont and Lillie, who had both...... fainted. I decided to wake them up, but failed, and waited some more. Lillie was the first one to wake up, and looked around. "Ash! what were you thinking?!" Lillie asked before hugging him involuntarily. "Hey... I'm fine. And by the way, I have found the team skull base entrance. " Ash replied as they broke from the quick hug. Clemont then woke up, and instantly tried to land a punch on Ash. "Jesus, what's wrong with you, Clemont!" Ash said as the punch narrowly missed him. Clemont only began to shout deliriously, and flung his hands around the car. Pikachu, who was in the back seat, was woken up abruptly from his sleep, and electrocuted Clemont, thinking that it was Ash who had woken him up. Clemont finally returned to his normal state, and gained his senses. "Clemont.... you just went delirious for a minute or so....." Lillie said, teasingly. "Ash.... Don't you ever do that to me again. " Clemont said as he straightened his glasses. "Ok, guys.... Since the Citroen is already in the building, it wouldn't take him long to raise the alarm. I think we should go ahead and get him and then stop the machine before anything happens. " Ash said, as he now began driving at a normal pace, trying to blend in with the other grunts and their cars in the underground system.
