Jungkook's Pov
I walk into the classroom with Jackson and Johnny pumping up air into a plastic bag, formed in a shape of a human. I threw my bag on my table and settled in. "Taehyung won't make it today." I heard Johnny say. I looked back at him, "Why are you telling me that?" Johnny stopped his action and stood up straight, "Because he wanted me to tell you," He went back to what he was doing. "He didn't say in a way, that made me want to relay the message, but that's what he wanted you to know." He could've told me himself. Why go through Johnny?
"It just crossed my mind, that I want to keep you with me forever."
He must be avoiding me. He looked at me with such terror in his eyes.
"It's not like I wanted to know," Johnny started. "But he orders me around because I'm the class leader. I honestly didn't wanted to know." Johnny complained as he fiddled his arms around like a toddler. "Having the wrong kind of friend can be a nuisance." Jackson sighed as he grabbed my attention, "Jungkook, can you grab this part for us? Come quick." I turned around and stood up. I went behind the dummy and grabbed the collar of the blue hoodie it had on while Jackson pulled the other end of it down. We helped each other set the dummy in a sleeping position on the table as I stare with amazement. "What do you think? Perfect, right?" Jackson asked while looking down at me. "Yeah, it is." I answer as I look up at him. As Johnny was fixing some other parts of the dummy and as we watch him do so, the teacher for the first class walked in. we noticed her and scattered like ants as we rushed back to our desk.
"Attention everyone, today we'll be continuing on our topic of poems." The teacher raised her head up after telling us the page and looked at Taehyung's seat. "Johnny, wake him up, will you?" Johnny and I made eye contact as he turned to face Taehyung's desk. The teacher interrupted, "Forget it, lets continue." We made eye contact once again and giggled slightly like little kids. Talk about loyal friends.
I walked along the path in the garden at the back of the building after my lunch. Listening a podcast I found online, I put my hands in my pockets and walked in a straight line. A day without Kim Taehyung, was quiet and peaceful. Actually, it was boring. When he'd spew nonsense, all I wanted was for him to go away. I must've gone accustomed to it, considering how bored I was today. When I walked around the schoolyard, during lunch break, the quietness surrounding me felt odd. I felt nervous as if, I had put off something important to do. I feel my phone vibrates in my pocket jacket and took it out.
"Jungkook."
"Jeon Jungkook.""My Jungkook."
"My Jungkook's the softest."
"Have you ever had fun with colors?"
I read his message in confusion before answering. "No, why?"
How can one even play with colors? I hated the feeling of loss when the colors fade away, more than not being able to see them at all. How can Taehyung leave me after forcing his way into my life? I noticed another notification as Taehyung sent me. He sent me a link to an art museum near my place. "The World Of Radiant Colors." I looked through some of the picture Taehyung sent me. There were different designs with what I'm guessing with different colors on and or in them.
"Let's go there, Jungkook."
A soft smile crept up on my face as I held my phone in my hands.
"It's a date."
Third Pov
Jungkook stood still as Taehyung walked to him with 2 tickets in hand. "I've been wanting to see this with you for a while you know," Taehyung says as he fanned himself with the 2 tickets. "It's a media art exhibition." Jungkook reached his hand forward to grab one of the tickets. Taehyung caught his hand and pulled the hand with the tickets away, he grasp tightly on Jungkook's wrist as he pulls him closer, making some school girls nearby squeal at the scene upon them. "Where flowers become you, and you become flowers." He said, much to Jungkook's confusion. "Let me escort you to that very world, Jungkook." He said before walking away and pulling Jungkook along with him, entering the art museum.
They walked through the hallway with spiral designs on the wall. In Taehyung's world, with was a mix of white and a soft purple. However, in Jungkook's world, it was white and a mix of dolphin gray. Jungkook didn't want to see the colors yet as he wants to see the ones in the 'Flower Room' of the museum. Even without colors, Jungkook still thought the spiral room was pretty. They were the only one in there at the moment, so Taehyung took the chance to hold Jungkook's hand in his. Jungkook didn't stop him, he was fine with it. "Jungkook, we'll enter a starlit room now." Taehyung says, sounding like a tour guide to Jungkook.
They walked into a room filled with different patterns but with the same color all around in a dark room. It was like a hologram of different shapes and sizes, it was on the wall, floor and ceiling. Each second the hologram creates a new shape containing all the other smaller shapes. There was a chair, a house, a flower. Jungkook stare in amazement as he touches the wall while Taehyung watches. Jungkook was like a kid in a candy stare to him.
Taehyung ran up to him and hugged him from behind, grabbing him by the waist as he caught Jungkook by surprise. "It's prettier with color Jungkook, are you sure you don't wanna see it now?" Jungkook shook his head answering 'no'. "Not yet, Taehyung." Jungkook feels Taehyung's nod as he and Jungkook walked forward looking like a couple into the next room. The same school girls from earlier squealed from seeing them as they took picture of them from behind. Still hugging, the boys entered the third room of colors as Taehyung hugs him tighter from behind, there were other people in the room but Taehyung didn't care. Lucky for him, Jungkook didn't noticed them, he was too focused the colors reflected on the floor. It was a design filled with delusional patterns. There were mirrors placed randomly in the room and with mirror walls and ceilings which caused it to reflect from another and create a dimension of unlimited colors in the room alone. It was weird. But it was gorgeous. Jungkook has never experienced anything like it.
Hand in hand, they finally entered the 'Flower Room'. "Will you be able to handle the blackout today?" Taehyung asked. "I won't," Jungkook turned to Taehyung looking up, "I promise." Taehyung went in front of him, still making eye contact as he held Jungkook's pale hand in his tan ones. "Alright, where flowers become you, and you become flowers, let me escort you there." Taehyung slowly took off his mask as rushes of colors from Taehyung shines and fills Jungkook's world. Taehyung turned around, still holding Jungkook's hand as he escort him into the world.
As they enter the room, the usual different shades of gray changes to a beautiful vibrant pink as they enter, there were poems written on the walls in beautiful fonts. The color was unfamiliar to Jungkook as he has not learned the color yet, but he already liked it. The room was filled with pretty flowers on all sides and corners of the room. Jungkook let go of Taehyung's hand and stood in the middle, sitting down as he caressed the flowers on the floor. It was cute in Jungkook's eyes. He loved it, the colors, the shape, everything. Jungkook stood up wand walked around, jumping around with a gorgeous smile plastered on his face. Swaying his arms around like a kid, he almost slipped. If it weren't for Taehyung catching him, "Be careful." Taehyung smiled, proceeding to hold Jungkook's hand as they continued into the room. Taehyung has never seen this side of Jungkook before, he loved it. "I never knew someone could be this pretty." He thought out loud, catching Jungkook's attention. They made eye contact while holding each other's hands. Taehyung pulled him closer slightly and pushed their foreheads together. They could feel each other's smile as Taehyung snaked his arm around Jungkook's waist and with Jungkook's hand rested on Taehyung's chest.
They were enjoying the moment, cause they know it isn't going to last long.
