Chapter Fifteen (Finale) : One of a kind

Jungkook's Pov

"What do you mean by that? Did you leave the agency? " I said angrily and sat up. He did the same and faced me. "Yeah, I'm done wanting to be a K-pop idol." I looked down at the white sheets under my hands. "It's because of me, isn't it?" Taehyung sighed and stood up. My eyes were glued to the bed sheets. He sat next to me on the hotel bed and placed his cold hands on mine. "It's not because of you,"

"I've been thinking about this for a while now. I've been wrapped up in my own problems, to even consider your worries, future, or what you want in life. "

"Not even once?"

"No."

I turned to face him, still skeptical about his decision. "Are you sure though? How can you just run away like that? " Taehyung turned away while my eyes fixated on him. "As you can see, to save you who've never even once worried about my future, I still climbed the walls of the hospital while on the run."

He moved his hand from my one to my thigh slowly, "That being said, why don't we.." He slowly got on top of me and grabbed my waist. It took me a second to figure out what was going on before I pushed him off of me and off the bed. "Sorry!" Taehyung fell on the pile of blankets on the floor and picked himself up to sit cross-legged. "Why did you push me away only to apologize?" He giggled. My eyes tremble as I look around the floor of the hotel room, avoiding eye contact with Kim Taehyung. "Well, we can't sleep in the same bed."

"And why is that?"

"I don't know."

I swiftly pulled the blanket over myself as I settled quickly on the bed and faced the big window away from Taehyung. Taehyung snickered in response, "Unbelievable." A second of silence passed by, making me think he had already fallen asleep. I was about to turn around. "Anyway, here we are, both on the run."

Never mind.

"Still, we'll see the sea tomorrow as a couple."

My eyes widened at his words as I felt his typical gaze on me. "Good night, Jungkook." I smile softly under the thick fluffy blanket before closing my eyes.

As Taehyung and I stood in silence, listening to the sounds of waves of the blue dimension in front of us as they clashed over each other, foam formed at the edge of the sand with each collision. In the background, you can hear children playing in the sand and soft conversations going on. Before I spoke, I sighed, "Back when I was young. I couldn't grasp the concept of foam, but I grew up to realize it was just a bunch of bubbles. This will probably be the first of many things like that, "

"Things that I realize are nothing." At the same time, I smiled. Taehyung and I turned our faces to face each other. "When I'm with you, Jungkook, nothing's meaningless." Taehyung smirks and says, or should I say, flirts, while raising his right eyebrow. Taehyung smiled contentedly, whereas I did the exact opposite. I made a disgusting look by scrunching my nose and furrowing my brows. "Oh my god, that's gross." I joked as Taehyung responded with an offended expression on his face before I backed up and fled away as he chased me playfully.

Third Pov

Taehyung chased Jungkook while Jungkook stuck his tongue out, mocking Taehyung as Taehyung pointed at him with his finger. "Gross?" They ran around, oblivious to the fact that the same group of high school girls from their date were staring at them and squealing. It took Taehyung only a matter of seconds to catch up to Jungkook. He grabbed Jungkook by the waist and dragged him into his back. The moment Jungkook turned around, Kim Taehyung's face was inches away, catching him off guard. After Jungkook's reaction, Taehyung smiled and drew him closer. Jungkook looked up and smiled back. This time, Jungkook had a change of heart compared to the first time he meant Kim Taehyung. The group of girls let out a loud scream as they saw what the lover had done. While shrieking, Taehyung and Jungkook stared in their direction as they looked away. The lovers chuckled, not caring about them, and stared at the ocean in front of them with a smile on their faces. Kim Taehyung's attention was on Jeon Jungkook, and Jungkook's focus is now on Kim Taehyung.
