 That morning, after ending the call with Joon-woo, Cha-young decided to go to Jipuragi and leave her job for a while. She knew that they wouldn't take it well, especially Vincent, but right now the best thing was to avoid him as much as possible, it wouldn't have been easy for her to pretend with him all the time. While she was getting ready, in the mirror she saw a person completely different from herself, her face was ruined by the huge amount of tears she had shed the night before, her eyes were tired and it was right inside her eyes that she saw her strength and her usual vitality now extinguished, that man, if you can call him that, was slowly ruining her. As soon as she was ready she made an effort to eat something, even though her stomach was in knots and just the thought of putting something between her teeth made her nauseous, but she knew that without eating she would not be able to stand it... she prepared a very light piece of toast and after eating it she left the house. She wanted to try to hide her pain at all costs, she had to seem happy with her choice...she headed straight to Vincent to talk to him about her decision while maintaining a certain sunny disposition.

Cha-young: good morning, I need to talk to you...

Vincenzo was not in the mood, after what he had told her the night before, he would have liked to avoid her that day but it was probably something important and so he decided to hear what she had to say...

The lawyer goes to the roof and after a few minutes Vincenzo reaches her.

Vincenzo was tired of hearing her words and went back to his office without even saying goodbye.

In the afternoon, Joon Woo went to his office and summoned his team to solve the problem of compensation... but there was not much chance to avoid payment, Mrs. Choi proposed to bribe the judge who will handle the case that will not be the same as the last trial, just hoping that he will get bribed.

It's 8pm and as agreed he is waiting for her in the parking lot of the restaurant he had chosen but she still hasn't arrived, 15 minutes pass and still no sign of her, Joon was starting to lose patience and was almost about to call her when she finally arrives.

Joon: finally you're here, I was starting to think you were going to stand me up but I know you're smart so you wouldn't...

Cha-young: there was traffic. Why did you call me here anyway.

Joon: It's simple, I know the owner of this place very well and he's reserved a secluded spot for us to have a nice dinner together. Far from prying eyes...

Cha-young doesn't say anything and follows him as soon as they enter the restaurant the owner takes them to a small basement where clandestine gambling meetings used to take place, but for that evening he had reserved it for Joon, who had obviously paid him handsomely to keep it private.

The room was very well furnished and decorated for the occasion, their table was in a corner, surrounded by sofas, very well set with an elegant vase of flowers as a centerpiece and soft music in the background, a really nice romantic atmosphere.
