Comeback

Jisung has concentrated even more on training and the comeback in the last few weeks. He really wanted to avoid to answer the question ...

"Do you want to be our boyfriend?"

..., which he has successfully mastered so far, but it was clear to him that the day would come sometime when he had to tell them his answer. But what should he say then?

He loves his Hyungs, really, and they make him happy, but is it love? Jisung doesn't even understand what the word actually means. He is afraid that he will make a mistake or disappoint someone, so he hides from it.

He doesn't avoid his hyungs, which would be hard after they finally make a comeback, but as soon as one starts on the subject, he distracts or apologizes and disappears.

The Hyungs of course noticed that Jisung felt uncomfortable with the topic and therefore decided to let the boy decide when is the right time. They're still young and have plenty of time.

Jisung is currently in the training room and is practicing his lead part again in the choreo of 'Black on Black'.
He's really excited. He got such an important part and so he has to practice a lot. Which of course he does.

The Hyungs think he's exercising too much. But there is not too much practice in Jisung's eyes and therefore the Hyungs are worried about their Maknae.

"Come on, Jisung. We're going home. Taeyong has invited us to dinner," says Mark and tries to dissuade the boy from training. He sees how exhausted the boy is. He is sweating all over the place and his legs are already very limp. Jisung probably hasn't eaten anything today.

In fact, the boy has not eaten anything yet. He started right after getting up and has now been practicing for 10 hours. Although he has drunk enough, he has not yet eaten.
"But I still have to-", but Mark interrupts him.

He grabs the boy by the arm, which of course triggers a colorrush in Jisung. Mark sees the rainbow eyes and understands what is happening. Inwardly, Mark is happy that he is one of his soulmates, but he just has to stay serious. He lets go of the boy.

"No Jisung. You stop for today and come with me now," he orders the boy. And as if Jisung were a completely different person, he obeys Mark and fetches his bag. Mark is a bit surprised, but shakes it off and is just happy that the boy is now stopping to train. Still, Mark is amazed at this sudden change of heart.

Mark and Jisung go back to the dorm and freshen up, then they go together to the restaurant where the others are already waiting for them.
"There you are finally", Taeyong greets them and takes them in his arms. Then they sit down at the big table and have a wonderful evening together. The next morning is already the big day.

'NCT COMEBACK'

Jisung is very excited when he stands in the backstage area fully dressed. He keeps rubbing his hands and just hoping that everything will go wel
l. "Hey don't worry. It'll be great," Jaemin says to him and calms the boy down.

Jisung is really grateful that he has such great hyungs who always support him. "Thanks Hyung," he says.
"Oh, that's nothing," says Jaemin and waves her hand.

"No, not just for now, but thanks for everything. Thank you for being there for me when Dad died. All of you. I'm so grateful to you. Without you I would have just given up and I wouldn't be standing here now," he admits.

Jaemin's heart immediately softens and would like to kiss the boy, but he can't. "That's what we're here for. We love you Jisung, don't forget that," he says and gives the boy a little kiss on the cheek.

"Come on, let's go!" Taeyong yells to us and we go to the others. Then the time has come. The stage lights come on and the fans scream. It would be amazing if I could just see the colors.

Suddenly I feel a hand in my hand. I look at the person and see a smiling Jeno. I smile back and close my eyes. I feel the colors slowly flowing into my eyes. I take a deep breath and then open it.

"UNBELIEVABLE!"

It looks beautiful. I am very grateful to Jeno for doing this for me.

Then the music plays and we all stand in the positions. The performance goes perfectly and we let the rest of the evening end together as a group.
