Rattlesnake Jake x reader "rango"

The final part

(Y/N) tried to stop him but it was to late, Jake got to Rango before she could reach him. Rango died to the venom from Jakes fangs. The folks in the town of dirt stood with their breaths held in. It was as if it was hard to breathe for how bad the situation got.

"This could've been handled in a much better way." (Y/N) replied to Jake as she watched Rangos lifeless body remain in his firm grip.

The poor guy didn't stand a chance in a fight with a rattlesnake. Even if it was a gun fight.

The towns folk seemed unsure of Jake now but still held their respect to him though spoons didn't see what was in him that (y/n) saw. Spoons came over to them where he lightly patted his hand on her arm to know he was there.

"I'm sorry for the loss mrs mayor, we never meant for this to happen." Spoons replied seeing her look down to him.

"There was no other way or else he would've continued, besides I believe spoons is better off as sherif anyways (y/n)." Rattlesnake Jake replied soon letting go of Rangos body.

Spoons and (y/n) looked up to him to where spoons had a soft smile on his face. "Really?? You mean it Jake??"

Seeing his excitement on him Jake grinned a bit soon to nod before looking over at (y/n) to see her response to it. Seeing she'd agreed to it though she kept quiet and said a little prayer for Rango before they buried him.

There on from once a fox who came from nothing to then a mayor with a rattlesnake by her side, she had a lot going for her from where she came from. Everyone in the town of dirt lived on happily and satisfied with where they're at and how things were running knowing (y/n) is running the town.

Just remember that everything may not go according to plan or your way but just know it happens for a reason.
