Chapter 9

Seeing there's a few townspeople at my door I'd ask them what they wanted. "We need your help, we've been robbed" one replied. "Robbed?? What's been robbed??" Asking. With a simple reply by the same person "Our water has been stolen!!" Her voice rises a bit. "So much for my day inside" I thought to myself. Needing a few towns people to follow me as we went to find the water.

* time skip *

We come back with no water but a clue. Keeping quiet about it as we had our heads ducked down while whispers were heard amongst the crowd.

                             *Mayor johns POV*

Smirking as I saw (y/n) and a small group come back with no water. Soon leaving without anyone knowing I'd head out to the usual spot where I played golf with the small gang. The usual small talk about a new town being made along with a new topic I've mentioned about the new comer in town in search of water. The small gang chuckled.

                            *Rattlesnake Jake POV*

"Rather boring day it is" thinking to myself while sunbathing. Watching sand get dragged here and there by the wind. Soon picking up a fresh scent from a flock of road runners. A familiar scent amongst the crowd was remembered. It was (y/n). Blushing a bit soon following the scent along with the trail of the flocks foot prints. "I'm coming for you (y/n), I'm coming for you" he smirked with a rather soothing deep voice. As he knew what scent it was.
