Chapter 22

(Y/N) POV

Unsure as I'd thought about it. Nodding in accepting the offer of being the Mayor. I trust Jake as I'd offer him the positioned of being my assistant even though he's wanted and an outlaw who became accepted by everyone in town. Although he is feared by many. Rattlesnake Jake accepted the offer as he became a very close friend of (y/n). Both seemed to be unstoppable when it came to working as the town had unlimited water source. We've managed to get through the toughest times even if it seemed like we were not going to win.

Rattlesnake Jake POV

Seeming to enjoy the assistant position, (y/n) was always rather fair with a lot of things yet some was given the cold shoulder. I liked that, although my feelings for her grew strong unsure if she noticed about it.

"Hey, can I talk to you for a moment??" He'd ask as he cleared his throat.

"Yea sure what is it??" Replying to his response.

"I uh, I like you even more then a friend (y/n). I don't know if you've noticed that or not but I do. You mean the world to me."
He'd say as his voice tremble a bit.

"Oh, I've actually had feelings for you but was unsure about you though" I'd chuckle a bit along as Jake as well.

"Would you like to date??" He asked.

"Yea sure, I'd like that." I'd reply as we both smiled.

He was happy that she accepted his offer. As he went back to doing his job as her assistant.
