                  Rattlesnake Jake POV

"I've been thinking since a lot of the towns folk have been trying to catch me and put me in jail for all the wrong doing I've done. It be you to put me in" he looked down at her. He smirked without her knowing about it. He even knew she wouldn't want to even though she has to.
"Come (y/n) lets go do some stuff while the night is young" he remarked while slithering off. Noticing her following behind on her bird. Sighing due to the fact she brings her bird majority to anywhere she goes. It's understandable but it gets annoying.
Soon reaching the outskirts of the town.

                     (Y/N) POV

As we reached the outskirts of the town I'd question what he had in mind.
"Ever wonder if those dried up plants are alive??" He asked.
"Yea from time to time. Sometimes I sat out here waiting for them to move but they never did" replying back to his question.
We both looked out into the wide open desert as if to expect something to happen. After a few hours past we got up and started to head back but then rustling was heard.
