Chapter 24

                      Rattlesnake Jake POV

He'd ask (y/n) if he could head down to the bar to see how everyone is doing without her getting concerned and upset with it. Seeing her nod her head he headed down to the place. He'd see Rango telling his lies as the chameleon stood there and gulped seeing how rather Jake wouldn't take any crap from anyone. Everyone there remained silent as spoons told Jake that his name was "Rango".

"Is that so??" He looked down at the guy.

"Y-yes sir" Rango replied.

"Bullshit, you weren't there" Jake said with a firm and strict tone.

Rango stood there gulping as Jake told him to get himself out of here. He nodded and left as he walked out. Seeing (y/n) drawing near to the bar.

                          (Y/N) POV

Seeing a new fella walk out along with Jake that stood tall. Before I'd hear Jake with a firm tone as I'd ask what was going on. After a while of Jake explaining I'd tell the guy he can stay as long as he remains truthful with everything. The chameleon was confused to the fact of a Rattlesnake working with a fox. Soon figured they are the mayor and assistant.

*A few years pass*

We'd have the chameleon as our sheriff as he was told if he did anything wrong the town folk will report it to us. The guy nodded and remained as Rango, fearing Jake although I'd never use Jake like that.

Spoons POV

Seeing how she put him as sheriff he sighed and questioned how and why he'd be sheriff. Shrugging it off he went about his business of the day until later that day he saw Rango hitting "flirting" with a girl as she seemed rather uncomfortable with the situation. Him with a few others took up the word with (y/n) and Rattlesnake Jake to soon see Rattlesnake Jake out there with hell for eyes and his tail "gun" rattling. Spoons and the few that followed watched from the mayors balcony as (y/n) went down to try and stop Jake. Before she could he struck at Rango with his fangs and venom at a ready stance.
