Opposites || KARLNAP

Chapter 14

Sapnap slowly moved his hand, searching for Karl's. That's when their hands met and collided. Sap intertwined his fingers with Karl's, and the two males didn't move a muscle afterwards.

They both lay there, eyes closed, hand in hand. They would talk occasionally, but most of the time they just enjoyed the silence. It wasn't an awkward silence, no. It was a comforting, sweet silence which both of the boys savoured and enjoyed.

"HEY BO- OH SHIT- SEX??" Alex made quite an entrance, frightening both of the other males.
"UGH- QUACKITY! YOU DUMB FUCK!" Karl screamed, his face lightening up almost instantly. Karl took his hand back and leaned forward, now sitting cross legged on the grass once again.

Sapnap also sat back up, looking at Alex. "What did you say?" He asked, confused.
"Oh, nothing." Alex winked and walked over to the other boys.

Karl rolled his eyes and then patted the grass next to him, indicating Alex to sit next to him. Alex walked over to the grass and gently fell back, somehow not banging his head. He lay down on the grass and looked up to the sky.
"Damn. I'd totally smash the sky." He said randomly, making the other two males look at him. "What?" He giggled.

"Weirdo." Sapnap laughed, lying back down. Karl also lay back down, having Sap to his left and Alex to his right. All the males shut their eyes and breathed in the fresh air. Sapnap slowly moved his arm closer to Karl and placed it on his thigh. He did initially aim for his hand, but this was fine aswell. Karl let out a quiet gasp and tilted his head to look at Sapnap, who was calmly laying down normally, almost as if he didn't know what he was doing to the smaller boy. Karl tilt his head back to its initial position, placing his hand on Sapnap's to show that this was okay.

"Soooo, what are we doing? Sitting here being all depressing?" Alex asked, startling the other boys. Karl and Sapnap quickly separated and sat up. Alex stood up and asked "Didn't you bring food?"
"Oh yeah! I forgot about that. We didn't get you anything though, I'm sorry." Sapnap said, standing and walking over to the brown packet which contained two freshly cooked pastries.

Sapnap sat back in his original position and opened the bag, exciting Karl at the gorgeous smell which now lingered in the air. The black haired male took out one pastry and held it up to his shoulder height so both boys could see it.
"It's a pastry with bacon and cheese inside." He said and carefully handed it to Karl.

A small squeal of excitement escaped Karl's lips as he took his first bite. His eyes widened by the impeccable taste.
"You like it, eh?" Sapnap giggled at Karl's reaction.
"Mhm!" Karl managed to say between mouthfuls. Alex smiled at his friends happiness. Since he knew about Karl's home situation, he knew what this must've meant to Karl.

"Thank you. This is amazing." Karl said as he swallowed his final bite. Sapnap had already finished his pastry quicker than Karl, which made him laugh.
"You're welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it." Sapnap smiled.
"Damn. Making me feel like a fucking third wheeler guys-" Alex fake cried, covering his face with his hands.
"Oh shut up!" Karl rolled his eyes at his immature friend.

The three boys lay down on the grass, chatting and getting to know eachother, for what seemed like forever. None of them had a care in the world as the wind flew calmly through the males' hair. The atmosphere was so calm and cool.

Karl sat up and looked down at his watch, "hey, it's pretty late. 4pm. I think I need to get going, I don't want to be in your hair for too long." He said, trying to be understanding.
"Huh? No! Karl don't leave." Sapnap formed a cute little pair of puppy eyes on his face and sat up.

Karl giggled at Sapnap's facial expression and sighed, "I don't want to annoy you. We've been hanging out for hours! You must be bored of me by now."
"Not at all. I couldn't get bored of you even if I tried, Jacobs." Sapnap smiled and held Karl's hand.

Alex rolled his eyes at the other males and closed his eyes.
"How about you sleep round my house again? Would you grandmother mind?" Sapnap asked.
Alex shot back up, "grandmother?" He asked and gave Karl a look.
"Yes Alex, my grandmother. And Sapy, are you sure you want me to sleep round again?" Karl replied, switching his glance between Sapnap and Alex.
"Yes! I want you to sleep round again, we had so much fun last time." Sapnap smirked. Alex rolled his eyes and lay back down, knowing that his bestfriend was lying to Sap.

"O-Okay then. I'll give my grandmother a quick text just to let her know. She'll be fine with it." Karl smiled and gave Alex a quick glance, but his friend was lying down with his eyes locked shut, clearly not very happy about the situation.

Karl opened his phone and pretended to send his 'grandmother' a text, when in reality he was just touching his phone screen, pretending he was typing on the keyboard.

"All done." Karl smiled as he shut off his phone and put it in his front pocket of his jeans.
