They woke up with Louis spooning Harry from behind like some fanfiction cliché. They didn't comment on it. They got up and made some breakfast and ate it out on the porch. They brought masks and went out for a walk to check out their surroundings but they didn't meet anyone. They stayed away from the closest town. They didn't want to be photographed together or run into fans.

They read a story called LouLou in Wonderland while resting on a blanket out on the grass. They both laughed at the thought of Louis being a vampire and Harry a fairy but they both agreed that Niall was a leprechaun. They didn't have any deep talks, but they didn't feel like they had to, and if they were cuddling a little? Well, that was just nice.

The story Zombie wasn't about them having sex as zombies (thank God) just them having sex in the middle of a zombie apocalypse because apparently they couldn't be without it? Louis snorted internally. Just look at them now.

They walked by the water and threw rocks in, trying to make them bounce.
"I haven't been this relaxed in ages." Harry smiled.

"Me neither. I was panicking at first, when Corona hit. My tour got postponed and that was such a disappointment. I had really been looking forward to it. I mean, safety first, of course, but still." Louis said.

"I know how you feel." Harry smiled, showing off his dimples and Louis fought the urge to poke them.

They were strolling along the shoreline, barefoot. The water was cold but it was a lovely, warm day of spring. They returned to the cabinet and ate some lunch while reading yet another story, Happily ever after. It was a story tale where they both were princes in different kingdoms.
"Does the little one with the cheekbones know that the prince is in love with him?" Louis laughed.

"Wait, I've read that before! Someone's boss or uncle or something had watched one of our performances on tv and made that comment, without knowing anything about Larry." Harry grinned.

"Aaaw, that's sweet." Louis cooed.

They shared a bottle of wine (because why not?) and just enjoyed the quiet outdoors. They checked in with their families daily and Louis talked to his son to make sure they were okay.

By dinnertime they pulled out yet another story, the second popular one on the account.
"Wait am I your bodyguard or the other way around?" Harry questioned.

"I'm your bodyguard." Louis smirked.

"That makes no sense." Harry chuckled.

"Heey!" Louis huffed.

It was Harry's turn to read.

At first, he thought he was just being silly. After a while, he was pretty sure he wasn't making things up. It felt like someone was watching him all the time. He was used to people looking at him. He had been a record-selling artist for a couple of years now, always living in the public eye. But there was something different with this situation. It felt creepy.

"Wait, didn't you have a stalker a while back? I think I read about it." Louis wondered.

Harry sighed and fixed his fringe.
"Yeah. This homeless guy followed me around. He even slept outside my house. It was scary, to be honest. I had to get a restraining order against him eventually. I felt really bad about having to do that."

"Don't. You did nothing wrong." Louis replied.

Harry smiled and continued to read the story.

Harry arrived at his management at ten the next morning. James told him to walk right in. His eyes immediately fell on a man in a black suit. His eyes grew wide. Was that his new bodyguard? He was freaking hot! Mr. Tomlinson got up to greet him as he entered the room and Harry immediately noticed how tiny the man was.
"How are you supposed to protect me? You're really short!" he blurted out without thinking and immediately blushed. Fuck, that was so rude!
