chapter 13

Heyyy guyss

Ok i had to tell SOMEONE this so imma put a short story real quick

so just a little heads up im in marching band. It was practice time and we all had to go outside to practice formations. Our band director was xhanging EVERYTHING that he taught us before, and proceeds to BLAME us for not doing the new thing right. So he goes away for a second and i say "yall we need to pray for some rain". We did💀💀. So now theres a tropical storm heading our way.😂😭

Ok now that out ONTO LÉ CHAPTER

Naruto woke up to someone gently shaking him awake.

"W-wha?"

"Get up dobe, your time for sleep is over."

The blond rolled his eyes and sat up on the cave wall. He blinked rapidly trying to wake himself up. He lets out a big yawn, and falls over on his side.

"Five more minutes..." he said with his words slurred together.

"GET UP!" karin yelled

At the voice naruto jerks up fully awake this time. It was bright and sunny outside.

"Since when did sakura get here?"  Kurama said with a snarl. She too was just woken up.

Naruto tried to lift his hands to sheild his face from the sun, but found that he couldn't move. He looks over at sasuke who turned his head away looking sorry.

Naruto sighed to himself. I guess he kinda had to.

"So why couldn't i sleep?"

"Because sasuke said so" karin said

"I dont remember asking you" naruto mumbled to himself

He wasnt sure why, but karin seemed to be in a foul mood today. They had only just met yesterday.

"Alright, listen, im going to be heading out to gather us some food, the rest of you will be watching naruto in case he...trys something" sasuke said while looking at naruto

"Really teme? I cant even move."

The raven let out a chuckle. "I know how you are naruto, and i know a lot about your mental and physical power. Long story short, im making sure you dont try to escape me."

Jugo let out a cough and looked at sasuke. Sasuke only gave a confused look, but then turned a bit pink. 

"I meant us... dont try to escape us"

Suigetsu let out a wheeze as he put on an amused face. Still pink, sasuke left the cave, but not without flipping Suigetsu off.

"What was that all about?" Naruto asked

"I am SO glad you asked. You se-"

"It was nothing" jugo said interrupting Suigetsu

The original sharkboy threw a fit and started to argue with jugo in a hushed tone.

Karin looked over at naruto her face full of envy. She walked over to him, gripping the knife in her pocket.

Why HIM? Why not me sasuke? Dont you want me instead? What does he have that i dont???

All she could think to herself were ways to try and get rid of naruto. She was up that night. She heard EVERYTHING. She saw EVERYTHING. Hell, she even felt their chakras. Sasuke and the himbo were IN LOVE with eachother.

Why not me, WHY NOT ME.

But she then stopped herself.

If i kill the person sasuke loves...wont he hate me? What am i doing? I want sasuke to be happy... i can at least be his friend...

"Is everything alright?"

Karin broke out of her thoughts as she focused on naruto.

"What?"

"I asked if you were ok" the blond boy repeated.

"Uhm, yea im ok..."

Naruto let out a sigh and frowned. "So, what do you think of sasuke?" He questioned while replacing his frown with a smile.

Karin was taken aback by this. But she sat down next to naruto.

Just five seconds ago i was planning to kill him, now i wanna talk with him...

Karins eyes flashed wide as she remembered what sasuke said earlier that morning 

'I know how you are naruto, and i know a lot about your mental and physical power...'

It was silent for a second, but she broke the silence with a, "hes ok."

"Is that really how you feel?" Naruto asked

The redhead was surprised at what she believed naruto was implying.

Who am i kidding, im in love with sasuke...

"I felt your killing intent earlier y'know? I know how you truly feel about him..." naruto said an a straight face. He then smiled at karin.

"To be completely honest, hes turned down every girl ever, and im pretty sure he barely likes me."

Naruto let out a chuckle.

"Y'know theres this one girl that i know. She would throw her life away for sasuke, possibly commit murder for him, but he always turned her away..."

Karin was getting fidgety. Was this a story about her? A parable perhaps?

"The day he left the village she was devastated, but never made an effort to get him back. All she did was complain about the fact that sasuke wasn't there."

"What happened to her?"

The two uzumakis looked up to see jugo and suigetsu sitting in front of them.

Naruto continued his story.

"Shes an ass now. All she expects is for sasuke to swoop in and say that he loves her." His bright smile soon turned into a dull frown

"Sakura's gotten worse over the years."

It went quiet. It felt like eternity before suigetsu spoke up.

"So naruto, what are YOUR thoughts on sasuke?"

A light blush soon settled in naruto's tan skin.

"Hes...himself?"

"Good grief kid what does that mean?"

"I mean that hes changed, but not that much...?"

Jugo raised an eyebrow. "Are you asking or telling us this?"

"Look, im not sure what my thoughts are on sasuke. Hell, i cant even tell how sasuke sees me."

"I can" the taka members said in unison. Jugo and suigetsu looked over at karin in astonishment.

"I can tell how he sees you, because it used to be similar for me to him."

She looked at the ground and felt ready to cry. Jugo saw this and patted her on the back.

Karin looked up and smiled.

"He really loves you, naruto."

I honestly like this chapter, since they're usually crap🤷‍♀️🤷🤷🏼‍♂️

But its whateverrrrrr

I really like karins single chapter character development, and who knows, it might happen to sakura as well

Yall, i have a swim meet on the 26th, and a band game the following day. Pray for me 🙏🏼 😂
