Freya

Raven set down her tools and left the radio tent finally after Anna convinced her to go get some sleep before we have to leave. She's been working on a second knee brace ever since we set up the radio tent in Tondc. Much to Octavia's dismay Bellamy entered the mountain posing as a guard and has been giving us information ever since.

I sat with my feet up on a crate, my gun on the table next to me and twirled my knife between my fingers. Anna turned to me with a sly smile, "So how are things with the commander." She made sure to keep her voice down. We haven't talked much about it since I came back from the pauna attack. "Freya, remember we talked about you processing things" she said giving me a serious look for a moment.

"We haven't had a chance to speak since" I shrugged. "With the tension between her people and the sky people already, they wouldn't take happily to the idea so I'm in limbo" I added.

Anna picked up something from Raven's pile of metal scraps to fiddle with. "Alright tell me what else is going on up here" she said pointing to her head with the metal scrap.

"Are you a mind doctor now" I chuckled. Anna entertained me with a laugh but then gave me a look. "Fine" I sighed. "I like her, okay. She's powerful, selfless and beautiful. Is that what you want to hear?" I said knowing she would drag it out of me anyways.

She smiled, "Well I'm not surprised."

I set my feet down and turned my body to face her straight on. "What is that suppose too mean?" I asked. This feels an awfully lot like the times she would taunt me to make us laugh.

"You like strong women. Clarke was the only doctor on the ground and took a leadership role. The commander literally leads armies" she laughed.

"Clarke and I, that wasn't anything serious" I rolled my eyes.

"It was serious enough for you to have your first time with her then continue sleeping with her after that" Anna pointed out.

I gave her a look and tried to change the topic, "Didn't you say that the whole idea of the virginity thing was used pre-nuclear apocalypse to shame women?"

Her response was to throw the metal scrap at me, missing me by a few feet. "I can't stand you, stop quoting me I'm trying to make a point" she said smiling nevertheless. "She admires you, trust me. I'm catching every time she's watching you when you aren't looking" she said. I cocked my head to the side. She stares at me? "I'm just saying that I like seeing you allow yourself to like people. As friends and more" Anna smiled radiating pure happiness.

"We'll see where it gets me" I turned to put my feet up again.

The flap to the tent pulled back. Lexa stepped in letting it fall closed behind her. Instantly she noticed Anna sitting on the other side of the table behind the radio. "Any word from Bellamy today?" she asked. Her arms were crossed behind her back, something I've noticed she does often.

"Not yet but it isn't his time yet" Anna stood up. "I'm going to go make sure Raven is resting" she said in my direction.

"Okay" I said. My chair was facing the doorway so I watched her leave before turning to Lexa. "Hello commander" I said.

Tension released from her shoulders, "she brings out the mockery in you." Lexa slowly walked around the table inspecting every object Raven has strewn about. "We leave for the mountain shortly" she told me.

"How do you say mountain" I asked. Since I was taken prisoner I've been curious about their language. It's obvious they take advantage of that to talk about us when we're around.

"Mounon is trigedasleng for mountain" she told me.

I tried to think of a common phrase, "How do you say hello my name is Freya?"
