Well hey! I'm Anna, and this is one of my first YouTube fics. This is a Hartbig AU, although they're still YouTubers - most everything is the same as real life. Hope you enjoy. :)

Can't Feel My Face --- The Weeknd

--

"Grace, are you almost ready?" Hannah called from the door.

"Just a second!" I snatched up my purse and rushed outside, grabbing my keys and locking the house up.

"I haven't seen Chester since you two reviewed Shake It Off," she grinned, "today should be fun."

Chester See had invited us to the mall to catch up over Auntie Anne's pretzels, and there was no way we could decline that. So we were headed to the mall, and naturally we were running late.

"Our Uber should be here in a minute." Hannah tapped her foot impatiently, a nervous tic of hers.

Our driver pulled up, and, once inside the car, we discovered he really liked synth-pop music. A lot. Enough to have the volume close to the loudest it goes.

"Hey, I know this song..." I tried to place the lyrics, but I was blanking.

"Four walls are not enough, I'll take a dip into the unknown, unknown, oh!" I grinned. Of course Hannah knew every line and proceeded to 'harmonize' with the driver.

"Don't tell me you haven't heard of Troye Sivan," he inquired.

"Ah!" I snapped my fingers in recognition. "That's who it is. Does he have other music?"

"Yeah, his first full album came out a little while ago. It's great stuff, but the radio stations only plays his old music for some reason."

I nodded and make a mental note of the singer's name before noticing we'd pulled up to the mall. As the driver slowed the car, I moved to get money out of my purse, but Hannah stopped me and insisted she pay.

"Whatever, dude. It's just one more thing I owe you for."

She sighed and climbed out of the car. "Let's get some lunch, Smellbig."

"This was fun, we should do it again." Chester said, and I nodded. "Say, next week sometime?"

"That sounds good, I'm pretty much free whenever, but I know Hannah's been kind of busy-"

"No, Grace, I mean just the two of us. Would that be alright?"

My heartbeat sped up and I glanced toward the restroom where Hannah disappeared. She probably knew this was coming, that bitch. Couldn't she have at least warned me?

I grinned. "That sounds...lovely."

"Awesome," he said, leaning back in his chair and looking three hundred pounds lighter.

Suddenly Hannah appeared next to us and picked up her drink. "So."

I punched her shoulder. "So."

She just grinned and sipped her soda with a knowing glint in her eyes.

"It's not that I don't like Chester, because I do, but I've never been on an honest-to-god adult date. I don't even know how to kiss a boy!" I agonized, flopping back into the couch. It was the next day, and already my stomach was filled with nerves at the idea of going on a date with Chester.
