Sitting on the swing in the park, you patiently waited for the vice captain of the first division from Toman to arrive. Moving your legs back and fourth you sighed as today's event played in your head once again.
You couldn't believe that Baji had left and allied himself with Valhalla. This was a serious act of high treason and as far as you were concerned, he was death to you.
However your friend Chifuyu, saw his captains sudden irrational decision from another perspective. What exactly, he didn't tell you right away. He wanted to investigate a little bit further before jumping to any conclusions.
And that's also why he asked for your assistance.
Despite knowing how you felt about his friends betrayal, there's wasn't really anyone else he knew who to turn too with his theory. He could've implicated other members such as Mitsuya and Smiley and ask about their thoughts. But when it came to more private and personal stuff, Chifuyu would often talk to you about it.
Along with Baji he considered you as a very close and important person in his life, both in and outside of Toman.
And the same could be said for you.
You and him went way back, creating strong friendship. And because of this, you would quite literally do anything for him.
So despite your grudge against the long black haired male, you couldn't bring yourself to abandon Chifuyu. So you forced yourself for his sake.
Looking ahead of you, you saw the boy you had been waiting for, walking into your direction. His hands in his pocket and a puzzled look was plastered on his handsome features
" Took you long enough " you jokingly greeted him
" Sorry..I got so caught up into my research that I lost track of time"
" Did you find anything?" you asked with a more serious tone
The boy nodded, took a seat on the swing next to you and told you everything.
" Let me resume all of this " you rubbed your temples" First, Kisaki is connected to Valhalla and Baji joined the group to investigate from the inside. And you want to help him by doing your own research but from the outside" you summarized
Chifuyu could tell that you had trouble believing " Yes"
" And ones the truth has been exposed Baji will jut wobble his way back to Toman?" the boy ones again shook his head " There's no doubt in my mind, he'll never abandon Mikey like that"
There you friend had a point. Everyone knew that Baji was one of the founders from Toman. He had been in the gang far longer than all of you. So it was a real shock when he suddenly left without giving a valuable reason.
So maybe your friends idea didn't sound so crazy after all.
In a way you wanted to believe him
" Alright, then we better get to work" you stood up from the swing and turned to Chifuyu " Let's bring baji home"
The boy's eyes widen ever so slightly. He thoughts that it would take far more effort to try and convince you to help him.
Grinning he extended his hand " Let's do this partner"
Grabbing it, you hosted him up and the both of you excited the park
" Let's get something to eat before we go home, I'm starving" you suddenly announced making Chifuyu chuckle
During the walk to a nearby restaurant you talked about the information the blond had gathered. Scrolling down his phone he showed you what he had found so far. You had to give him credit, it was quite a lot that he had occurred in this little amount of time.
