"French fries kill more people than guns and sharks, yet nobody's afraid of French fries." : Robert Kiyosaki
-----------
I woke up to the irritating noise of my alarm replaying the same annoying tune in my ear make me groan aloud.
What made it worse was that I didn't have the energy to stop it, so it carried on for what felt like forever, and it was also the ridiculous time of 6am on a Monday morning. Could things gets any worse?
Oh yeah the sun began to beam through the gap between my windowsill and blind making my eyelids flicker.
I eventually found it within myself to remove myself from what was the warmest bed in the world right now and start getting dressed into my school uniform.
The only reason I had to get up this early was so the gang could meet up at 7:30 each morning, I didn't even have to be at school until 8:45.
After eating breakfast and brushing my teeth I remembered the fact that I get to hold a gun today, and the day just got a whole lot better.
I hitched my skirt up higher around my waist so it fell to the middle of my thighs, tucking shirt back into it and grabbing my blazer and bag before heading off.
I was lucky I was having a good hair day because else I would be in the biggest mood, also I'm lucky that I don't need to wear makeup so it doesn't take me that long to get ready.
I made my way to the warehouse, it only take about 5 minutes because I know the back alleys to go down.
"Oh finally" Sam moaned pointing to me as I wondered through the rusty doors. I was the last one there.
"Don't start" I huffed. "So are we still on for later?" I asked as I took my seat on the old wooden chair, letting my bag drop down beside me.
"Yeah, come here straight after school ends and we'll go then!" Matt smiled at me and I nodded getting up to leave.
"Yeah and then we'll see if you're good enough to not be out on them streets" Sam said sternly.
He's like the leader of the pack, or likes to think he is. Everything he says goes but sometimes we do things behind his back, like George did last night.
George did it because we've always been closer than any of the others. I knew him since we were little so we've grown up together.
He's one of the popular boys and school and I'm one of the popular girls so we always hang around together in school.
We've always been close enough that we can flirt and it doesn't even seem weird. We walk school hand in hand most days and we hear countless rumours about us being together but that would never happen, although I wouldn't mind.
"Okay!" I said bending down to grab my bag and putting it over my shoulder.
"Right, cya after school" I smiled as George took my hand in his and we made our way out of the rotten warehouse.
"Is Lizzie ready?" George asked as we got into his car.
"Yup, as always George" I smirked sarcastically as he began driving.
Lizzie's house wasn't that far so we'd be at school way earlier then needed but that doesn't matter.
"Alright, don't get sassy with me mrs" He smirked as we pulled up at Lizzie's.
"Hey guys" She chirped up, getting into the back of George's car and flinging her bag on to the seat next to her.
"Why are you so happy? We have bio first thing Liz" I groaned as George pulled up at school and all eyes were on us.
