"So, what do you think of my cousin then?" Ashton asked as him, Liz, me and George made the first few steps of Thursday morning into high school.
"Yeah he's nice, I don't really see him though. Lots is in more of his classes though, aren't you" Lizzie said nudging me jokingly with Ashton's arm wrapped around her shoulders.
"Yeah, he's different" Was all I could say without Ashton getting the wrong impression or me sounding too odd.
"Well he's pretty intrigued by you" He smirked back making me sharply turn to look at him.
"Me? Really why?" I asked feeling myself getting slightly happy but also nervous.
"Ooh don't get too excited!" He laughed back and I could sense myself blushing slightly.
"He thinks you're someone else that's in a gang" He said letting out a laugh as Lizzie did the same.
I felt my body tighten within me and I could feel George's grip stiffen around my shoulders.
"Well that's just stupid isn't it" I laughed along with them, trying to fight the fear of people finding out.
I quickly looked up at George who quickly gave me an odd look but he soon joined in with the 'joke' and his grip loosened.
We got to our lockers and the bell rang, me and Liz said our goodbyes to the boys before they scurried off to their classes.
"I wouldn't mind getting to know Luke, he's quite intriguing too" I admitted to Lizzie.
"Well we should have a party or something, perfect scenario for to get to know him, hey" She smirked and I knew exactly what she was thinking, although it's a good idea!
"Yes Liz, that's such a good plan! A time for all of our lot to get together, and now Luke's here, get to know him and Calum and Michael a bit better! Plus it's an excuse to get drunk!" I agreed as we both clutched our books and headed to math.
"Okay, conveniently my parents are out this weekend and you know they have no problems with parties anyway so it can be at mine" She smiled as we entered the class.
"Come on girls, you're always late" Our math teacher glared at us.
"Yeah because maths is a load of-"
"Miss Murrey" She warned Lizzie making her roll her eyes but me laugh.
We managed to overcome the bore of maths, gossiping on and making plans for the upcoming party before we exited as soon as the bell rang.
"I'll meet you at lunch, we'll get the word out then; although it won't take long. See you after class" Liz stated as we walked off in opposite directions.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry" I said looking up from my phone as I heard a few books drop to the ground from me accidentally walking into someone.
"It's okay"
