"If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you, it would be reasonable to shoot back with your own gun." :Dalai Lama XIV

A series of oohs flew up in the air and my body had a rush of anxiety and fear. I couldn't do this alone, what if they need me to write a statement, what if they want to arrest me, what if they realise I'm already hiding from the police.
"Come with me"
"Lottie I can't, they asked for you" Luke replied letting out a small laugh.
"Shit me you guys are like attached at the hip, he's been here nearly 2 weeks and you're already so loved up" Ashton laughed in which I sent a glare back. He doesn't know the half of it.
"Please" I begged as the same statement echoed out of the school speakers filling the corridors with the sound.
"Okay, I'll wait for you outside" Luke agreed as we made our way to the heads office. As we left we heard Michael shout something about Luke being whipped but I couldn't even be bothered to reply with a witty answer, I was too full with worry.
"When you get back we wanna know what when down between you both last night" Calum shouted up the corridor earning a lot of sniggers and whispers after his abrupt statement. Again neither of us could be bothered to reply.
"I can't do it Luke" I said coming to a halt in the hall way by a slight cubby hole in the wall. "I really really can't" I said leaning my back in the hole as Luke looked at me.
"Yes you can, it was self defence Lottie, the police will have seen that, come on you'll be fine" He insisted taking my hand in his.
"Luke this is going to be it, what are my parents going to say? My whole family? The school is going to wonder what the hell happened and I'll have that gang of boys on my case for the rest of my life Luke. Please don't make me go in there, please" I rambled as I felt a small sweat coming on due to my nerves.
"Hey princess, listen" He replied as he pushed any loose hair back out of my face and tucked it behind my ears, "You'll be fine, that's a promise. I keep my promises. I'll be right outside that office waiting for you and when you're done we can do what you want okay, so come on, before they shout you again through them annoying things" He finished pointing up to a speaker right above our heads.
Luke was right and the fact he said he'll be right outside made me worry less. It'll be over and done quick. If they ask I'll say it was self defence, I mean it was self defence, it was self defence wasn't it?
The whole thought of it made me doubt myself, I just need to get this horrifying situation dealt with.
We finally reached the heads office and I just ignored each and every look I got given.
"Ah, finally Miss Griggs" The head applauded as he opened his wide office door, revealing the two policemen that had previously walked in. I noticed Luke take a seat outside.
"Sir, you can't sit ther-"
"I'm waiting for Lottie" He said with a smile back to the heads assistant.
"And what is your relation to Lottie? Not one good enough to be missing your lessons is it, now choo" She insisted as Luke shook his head.
"No, I'll be waiting here. Our relation is private and is in no way your business." He said causing the assistant to roll her eyes. In the mean time I'm sure the head invited me in his office but I didn't move an inch, I needed to know Luke would be outside waiting.
"Miss Griggs, please" The heads low and strict voice brought me out from the stance, "Take a seat, you can see the boy after" He carried on as he shut the office door.
