"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams." : Dr. Seuss

------------------

I woke up to an usual alarm clock sound, it was definitely not mine. I turned around in my bed and moved the endless sheets that covered my body to see Luke frantically rushing around my bedroom.

"What are you doing?" I questioned quietly due to just awakening.

"Lottie, sorry princess I didn't mean to wake you, I've got to go. Luckily my alarms set early I need to get dressed and have a shower before school" He said leaning down and giving me a kiss as I frowned in reply.

"Let me come" I replied throwing the covers off my body and jumping out of bed.

Luke smiled at my sudden movement and my want to stay with him, "You're more than welcome"

"Okay, I'll get changed at yours" I laughed as I grabbed my school uniform out from my closet, along with fresh underwear and my make up bag which I shoved my toothbrush, hair brush and deodorant and perfume into. I grabbed my school bag and returned back to my calm self after a few frantic minutes.

"Ready then?" He asked as we reached the bottom of the stairs. I nodded whilst slipping my school shoes on quickly and saying a quick goodbye to my mum and dad. They obviously questioned me on my sudden need to leave so early and go with Luke but in the end they didn't mind. Luke also quickly came to thank them and say goodbye before going to put his shoes on.

I returned myself to Luke who was once again in deep awe of my house. "Luke you can stop admiring it, you'll see it again soon enough" I smirked as he nodded his head and raised his eyebrows.

"And what's that's supposed to mean?" He asked intently.

"Think of it what you will Hemmings, make of it what you want" I laughed as we shut the door behind us and I practically ran to his car because of the fact I was in last nights clothes and my school shoes; not a great match.

Luke clearly noticed my embarrassment and thought it was hilarious. He decided to carry on making a fool out of me by unlocking his car door and getting in the car whilst leaving me locked out.

I sent a frown his way to which his reply was on going laughs, which did not amuse me. "Sorry baby" He announced as he finally unlocked the door and I got in the car, "Don't be angry" He said as his eyes turned to the road and his foot hit the peddles, starting the car as he free hand gripped my thigh; the usual gesture I receive from Luke.

"I'm not angry you idiot, I'm tired though, last night was chaos right" I laughed slightly as the memories from last night flooded through my mind and my eyes fixated the the views outside.

"We don't have to talk about that Charlotte, but if you want to I don't mind. I just want you to feel comfortable" He replied slightly rubbing my thigh as I turned to him and smiled sincerely at his comment. This movement allowed me to take in his features once more. The shiny ring that cradled part of his lip, the stubble which was making its slight appearance once more, those beautiful blue eyes. They're his best feature, I get lost in them so easily, it's not healthy.

"Stop staring at me" He giggled softly as the car came to a halt and what must be his house.

"Sorry it's not some great mansion like yours" He said with a slight sigh which made me feel somewhat guilty. The house was a lot smaller than mine, but yet it was still a decent size. It was all white with a nice grey tiled roof and big windows. It's a lot plainer than mine but yet more modern.

"Why are you apologising? Don't be so silly, it's lovely, I really like it" I truthfully told him as we both got out of the car and shut the doors behind us.
