Summer was over, and a new school year began. Jaehyun had been missing for two months and Sunwoo was starting to lose hope in finding him.
He had dragged Juyeon and Eric with him to the city, they thought it was just a road trip.
But in reality, it was a hunt for Jaehyun. But every time he could never find him. Especially after spamming his phone.
Jaehyun didn't want to be found and Sunwoo finally accepted that.
He dragged himself to school, his mouth opening wide as he yawned.
Walking through the doors, he was met with the face of Eric who caught his eye.
He was now sporting a pink head, which was most likely against the rules, but who was he to care?
He gave him a closed smile and walked towards him, opening his locker that was beside Eric's.
"Did you sleep well last night? You've got massive bags under your eyes." Eric questioned, lifting his eyebrow in suspicion.
"It was fine, I stayed up too late watching movies." Sunwoo answered, it was mostly the truth. He was watching movies, but mostly staring at it blankly.
They were romance movies, all of them between a man and a woman. And he couldn't help but feel disconnected, never has he ever fancied a woman.
"You should stop staying up late, that's why you're short." A new voice popped in and behind him stood Juyeon who had a smirk on his face.
"Shut up Juyeon." Sunwoo grimaced, pushing him away. Eric laughed which caused Juyeon to laugh along.
"And you shut up too Eric, your short as fuck." Sunwoo countered, making the other pause.
"I'm still growing." Eric pouted, slamming his locker shut in protest.
"Yea sure you are." Juyeon chuckled before running off to catch up with the rest of his friends that were in his class.
"Should we get going?" Sunwoo questioned, looking over to Eric who was still gazing longingly down the hallway.
"Oh, yeah sure." He answered, finally breaking out of his trance as Sunwoo waved a hand in his face. Shaking his head the two walked into their first lesson, sitting down in their seats that they had been sitting in since the start.
It was relatively early and people were still walking into the class, the teacher not present.
The first bell finally rang and the hallways began to clear, teachers most likely still sat in their lounge, chugging on a bunch of vodka before having to deal with young adults.
Sunwoo groaned, resting his head on the table and followed a line down the wall. Why was there a line on the wall, no idea.
The teacher was wacky, had no idea what they ever spoke about, that's why he was failing.
He continued to follow the line with his eyes before they stopped abruptly.
Lifting his head up he watched the boy sitting at the side of him.
He was a couple seats away from Eric, and Sunwoo questioned why he had never seen him before.
His eyes were wide as he watched the boy. He tried to blush as the other smiled, laughing at his friend that was sitting in front of him.
He began to feel slightly jealous that the boy had made him laugh, but thanked him at the same time, for enabling him to even listen to the angelic noise.
He sat down for a few more seconds, still staring at every little action the boy did, taking mental notes of how he acted.
He was infatuated already, and he didn't even know his name.
"Sunwoo, what are you staring at?" Eric questioned, looking in the same direction, but all he could see was a couple of boys.
He patted the other's arm, trying to get his attention back.
"Nothing." Sunwoo rushed, his words spilling out in a jumbled mess making Eric narrow his eyes at him. Nodding Eric returned back to his seat, still not believing Sunwoo.
