It had been a few months since Chanhee and Sunwoo started hanging out. Sunwoo took the others everywhere and even out of the town into a nearby village.

He took him to all the places he thought he would find Hyunjae before, but was left in disappointment. But the area was lovely and he wanted to go again and spend time with the person he admired greatly.

His heart raced more and more as he spent more time with the other, it felt like he was about to explode every time they got close, their faces a few inches apart.

They hadn't kissed yet, Sunwoo would chicken out every time he remembered that Chanhee was most likely straight.

This time, Sunwoo had taken Chanhee to a forest, he had been walking through one day and found an abandoned cottage and wanted to show Chanhee, so they could look around together.

"But what if it's haunted?" Chanhee whined, standing behind Sunwoo as he was being dragged by him.

"It won't be haunted, as long as you don't believe it's haunted." Sunwoo laughed, his hand comfortably holding Chanhee's thin wrist.

"But what if there's a bunch of rats?" Chanhee questioned, a pout forming on his face.

"Then I'll throw a rat in your face." Sunwoo teased, earning a slap in the arm as Chanhee caught up, running.

They finally arrived at the house, the windows broken and curse words spray painted all around the brick walls.

"This is scary." Chanhee cried, holding onto Sunwoo's arm, feeling scared.

"I'll protect you." Sunwoo grinned, feeling very stereotypical. He kicked the jammed door open.

"You ready?" He asked as he finally walked into the dirty environment that used to be a home.

A few wild animals scurried away from the pair, rubbing into other rooms, their loud claws scratching the wood underneath causing Chanhee to jump.

They wandered further into the house, crushing the old wood beneath their feet every time they took a step.

"You okay?" Sunwoo asked Chanhee, but received no reply, the other had been completely silent as they walked through the house.

They walked out of the back door, Sunwoo with a grin on his face.

"Why are you so scared? I protected you, didn't I?" Sunwoo laughed, wrapping his arms tightly and Chanhee who was still scared as ever, but as they walked further out of the forest, the more he felt more secure.

"It was scary still." Chanhee shivered, gladly hugging Sunwoo back.

"Hey, you don't have to be scared." Sunwoo muttered, stopping his steps to make Chanhee look at him.

"I'm right here, and will probably always be here." He smiled, pulling the other into a hug he kissed his forehead ever so slightly.

The smallest amount of pressure was placed on Chanhee's forehead and the action still made him blush bright red.

"Let's go back to my house, yeah?" Sunwoo suggested, and he felt a nod against his shoulder and the two set off.

His mother wasn't home at this time, she was most likely at work or hanging with friends in the middle of the day.

He let Chanhee into the house and led him to his room, Chanhee grinning when he saw the bright blue coloured walls, it was cute to him.

"You can sit anywhere." Sunwoo announced, glancing around to check that nothing was out of place, letting him calm his anxiety down.

Chanhee sat down at Sunwoo's bed and patted the space beside him, wanting the other to sit beside him.

Immediately, Sunwoo sat beside him, putting his hands on his knees, his shoulders tending as he sat particularly close to Chanhee.

"Your room is really nice." Chanhee said, still glancing around the room, a smile placed gently across his face.

"O-Oh, thank you. My dad and I decorated it before he passed." Sunwoo stuttered, he was surprised by the comment and was more expecting a slight laugh of how childish it looked.

"No I like it, it's innocent." Chanhee grinned, leaning into Sunwoo, trying to comfort the other at the mention of his father.

Chanhee knew everything by now, Sunwoo told him everything, and he didn't want to bring up memories of his dad that were going to upset him, he deserved happiness.
