Maya smiled as she was busy going through some clothing that she had gotten from friends for Layla while it slowly hit her that she was going to have a girl. Of course she knew it for quite awhile now but it was as if it only started to come to realization at that moment.
Maya smiled seeing all the Onesies with Layla written on them as she saw how her four year old son came towards her and sat down on the floor next to her.
"What's the matter, Kayden?" Maya asked.
Pulling Kayden out of daycare was definitely something Maya had considered for awhile but when she did it at the end of January it became so much real. Kayden often told Maya when he still went to the daycare that he didn't like it or that he didn't want to go back but Maya thought that he would grow out of it once he got into the routine. But he didn't causing Maya to pull him out of the daycare immediately.
"You bored?" Maya asked as Kayden nodded his head as Maya stood up helping her son up.
"Come. Let's go and play. Jace is still asleep for the time being and your grandparents are still in Greenwich Village," Maya said.
"When can we go and see Pappy K?"
Pappy K. A nickname Kayden came up with for Maya's father, Kermit. It came a huge surprise very often to Maya that her son was so intellectual that he came up with names for each and every person in his life. And still he seemed to find another way to surprise his mother.
"Well we can go through this weekend if you want. Let's ask Daddy when he gets home," Maya said as they went in front hearing the doorbell.
"Throw out your blocks," Maya said as she opened the door seeing Riley.
"Is Josh here?" Riley asked as she went in.
"Nope. How can I help?" Maya asked as Riley lifted her hand.

"I'm engaged. Mason proposed," Riley said.
"Yeah I can see. Congratulations, Riley. You guys deserve it," Maya said hugging Riley.
"Yeah I know. Why is Kayden not sy school?" Riley asked as Maya rolled her eyes.
"Don't ask. Come on in then I'll make us some tea," Maya said.
"Sounds good. Hello, Kade. Can I play with you?" Riley asked as Kayden nodded.
Riley sat down next to Kayden as Maya watched how her 20 week pregnant 'niece' and her son were busy playing. Maya still found it absolutely crazy that Riley was 20 weeks pregnant with her first child. It came as a shock to everyone when Riley announced her pregnancy since she was so adamant to only have kids once she was married but even that changed with time.
"Okay, Riles. How's pregnancy?" Maya asked as she kept the conversation going between the two of them.
