Maya exhaled as she saw the decorated apartment at Cory's place while she was slowly feeling the baby moving around. She smiled as she looked at Josh and Joseph talking as Mason also joined the group.
"Ready, Maya?" Riley asked as Maya nodded.
"Josh, I think it's time," Maya said.
"Okay then. Let's do this," Josh said.
Maya exhaled as she saw how Sophia brought out the cake but she also saw how Riley was carefully looking at the cake so she could see if there was any icing sticking out. Riley has been driving Maya insane with all of the talk about a baby girl while Maya knew the chances were good that it was just because she was having one.
"Okay, guys. Go ahead," Sophia said as they cut the cake.
Maya placed the piece of cake on a plate as she looked at Josh nearly jumping up and down as they showed everyone.
"Girl! Yay!" Riley said as Maya heard Jace starting to cry from his stroller.
"Nice, Riley. Hopefully the endless competition will now end. You and Maya are still friends. As well as Maya and Sophia," Josh said as Maya picked Jace up.
"Hey, Bud. Heard that? You're getting a sister. Kayden what do you think?" Maya asked as she smiled.
"Daddy do we have a castle?" Kayden asked as Josh looked at his son.
"No, why?" Josh asked.
"We need to lock her up from the villains," Kayden said as everyone started to laugh.
"You watch too much Repunzel," Maya said.
"My boy thinks the right way," Josh said.
"Does she have a name?" Farkle asked.
"Layla Penelope Matthews. We would really want you to be one of the Godparents, Farkle," Maya said.
"Me? I'll be honored," Farkle said.
"And the Godmother?" Riley asked.
"That goes to Smackle. Joseph and Sophia are Kayden's. You and Lucas are Jace's. And Farkle and Smackle will be Layla's," Maya said.
"I got something for Layla since we knew the name for a bit," Sophia said as Maya opened the package.
