They were getting closer. The sound was getting louder. They can feel it. They can feel the presence of people waiting for them. Beyond them... there should be a redhead waiting for them the most.
Whoosh swish swoosh
By the time the exploding sounds of the fireworks ended, there was a large worn-out iron gate in front of them.
Creak
As if sensing their presence, the gates opened... slowly revealing 10 figures.
A man with a feathered earing walked towards them with a mocking voice.
"You've finally come to save your hero, huh?"
"I am happy to tell you the hero's room is currently getting filled up with poison so you should- "
Slash
Blood dripped over the cut on the mans face made by Ron's dagger.
"Oi old man, I think you should listen to what we have to say first."
"This old man has listened enough and shall go fetch the young master"
Shrugs
"Well, I never expected you guys to all listen anyway"
Unsheathes sword
"Let's dance"
On and Hong spread their poisonous fog while they were in human form. They have trained to do this so that they can surprise the Molan father and son duo. Never have they expected that it'll be put to use for rescuing Cale after peace was re-established after the war with the white star.
Swish Swoosh
1... 2... 3... Swiftly slashing the blades full of poison through the enemies' bodies. Just 1 second slower... just 1 second faster... every second counts. Every second we waste in this battle is prolonging Cale's suffering.
Ron, Beacrox, Choi han and Rosalyn all having their own fights.
'WE must make the enemies slower...vulnerable...weaker...'

Clang Cling
Dual daggers meeting an axe. A great sword smashing a club. A sword clashing with a spear. Spells repelling spells.
Boom Clash
More people join in from the enemy side. Slowly yet surely pushing back the hero's family. Until...
"WERE READY!!!"
Duuuuuuuuuun
An overwhelming presence enough to make you kneel in all fours. Dragon fear.
"CHOI HAN LETS GO!!!"
Choi han breached through the people surrounding him and headed towards the abandoned mansion.
"WE WON'T LET YO- "
Kuuuuuaaaak
"And I won't let you"
Eruhaben uses his magic to restrain the enemies and keep them at bay.
"Now go and save that unlucky bastard"
"Wait for us gramps!"
Raon and Choi Han went to the mansion.
Thud
As Choi han kicked open the door Raon quickly scanned the area searching for a certain human's presence.
"CHOI HAN THE HUMANS OVER THERE"
Said Raon while pointing to a door in the second floor.
As they quickly went towards the door. A woman appeared out of nowhere blocking their way.
"You think I'd just let you go in that easily?"
Raon not wasting a second quickly used his magic to make a way for Choi han to go through. But the magic didn't work. There was only one explanation. There is a mana disturbance tool in the mansion.
The woman not missing the second of realization with the dragon and swordsman quickly swung her sword towards Choi han.
Cling Clang
Sweat fell from their foreheads'. Rage burned in their eyes. Swords swung at each other.
While the 2 fought each other. Raon immediately went to find the mana disturbance tool. After 3-5 minutes Raon finally found it and pounded it into the ground.
Raon quickly used his magic to bind the woman's movements and eventually stop her from moving.
"CHOI HAN GO AND GET THE HUMAN!!!"
Choi han kicked open the door to see a familiar red headed figure collapsed on the ground.
'CALE-NIM!'
He quickly carried the red head in his arms and went out of the room.
"Raon!"
Upon seeing Cale, the little black dragon felt so many emotions at the same time. In that second, the woman quickly didn't miss her chance.
"For our liege, The White Star"
KABOOM
In mere seconds, the woman's body exploded and the mansion was on fire.

The mansion is located in a forest and there aren't many lights lit up in and outside the mansion. This chapter also happened at night time so Choi han couldn't properly see Cale's condition 😉 yet.
