Chapter 17

"My family wants me to join a meal with them?"

"Yes, young master-nim"

"When will it be?"

"They said that they'll decide the time and place while you will decide the day it will be held."

"I see, is it okay not to send a reply for now since ill have to think about it more."

"Of course, young master-nim"

Ron left Cale's room after hearing his young master's thoughts on the invitation from the Henituse family.

'hmmm when should we join for a meal? Right now, is Friday in the evening....

................... maybe Sunday?'

"Human!"

Cale quickly glanced at Raon after hearing his name called.

"Can we join the meal too???"

Cale stared at Raon's face with his cute pleading eyes and after a few seconds On and Hong joined him. The amount of cuteness the kids were radiating can cause Cale to die from cuteness overload and forget about the fact that this kids are capable of tearing down a castle.

There was only one thing Cale can say to those pleading eyes.

"Sorry but you can't, maybe next time."

The air around them suddenly turned cold. The kids were so shocked from this rejection that their mouths were left wide open. Cale wanted to tease the kids because of their reactions but chose not to since it might make their mood go down farther.

"Don't worry, next time we can go on a meal together."

The kids' faces turned sulky, it was as if what Cale said made them sadder.

Cale, shocked by this quickly followed up.

"It's okay If you don't want to..."

Suddenly hearing Cale say this in a sad tone of voice, the kids knew they quickly had to say something.

"NO! We Want To!"

"Yeah! We Want to Have a Meal with You Cale!"

"It's a Promise kay!"

Hearing this, a small smile landed on Cale's face.

"Yeah it's a promise."

The kids snuggled up to Cale after hearing his answer.

Cale not knowing the reason why the kids suddenly snuggled up to him decided to just go with it. He quickly laid back on the bed and dozed off to sleep.

It was early in the morning. Ron entered Cale's room with his son's signature lemonade at hand ready to give it to Cale once he wakes up.

To his surprise, the children were already awake sitting in a circle and giggling with each other. Cale was the only one asleep now.

"What are you children giggling about?" asked Ron.

Raon quickly turned his head to look at the old man showing the smug smile on his face.

"We saw Cale smile!"

"Is that so." Said Ron with a benign smile.

"You don't understand grandpa Ron! This is a different smile from when he scams!" shouted Hong.

"The HUMAN'S SMILE YESTERDAY WAS A VERRY HAPPY ONE!"

"It was like a gentle stream..."

Ron could somewhat understand that hearing about Cale's smile from the two brothers were normal since their always so energetic that it would be no surprise that they'll be full to the brim of happiness just seeing the red head smile, be it from scamming or others.

But hearing even On talk about Cale's smile makes the old man wonder.

'Just what kind of smile did the young master-nim show them..."

Hearing the knocks from the front door, Choi Han quickly went to open it.

"Who is it..... .......Ms. Cage?"

Cage ruffled her hair when she saw Choi Han, she was wearing a very tired expression on her face showing that she hasn't slept.

"Is young master Cale here?"
