Chapter 7

Just before the explosion could hit them. Raon quickly set up a teleportation magic circle for the three of them. As the coordinates was thought on the spot, they teleported 12 feet midair from outside the gates just where their family were fighting with the enemies. Choi Han held Cale tighter as to make sure the red head won't get out from his grasp though they were both falling in the meantime. 

Eruhaben as the first to notice Choi Han and Cale falling quickly casted floatation magic to make sure they land safely.

"Choi Han!" Rosalyn shocked from seeing Choi Han suddenly in midair subconsciously shouted his name.

As everyone's attention were swiftly shifted onto Choi han they finally noticed the person he was carrying. They finally saw Cale.

"Cale!" shouted On and Hong as they swiftly run towards Choi Han carrying Cale.

"Save the reunion later! GET IN THE TELEPORTATION MAGIC CIRCLE!"

Everyone quickly went towards the teleportation magic circle leaving the enemies behind.

"FOR OUR LIEGE, THE WHITE STAR"

BOOM BOOM BOOM

The enemies' bodies exploded all at once when they recited that phrase.

"Huff...pant...huff...pant...ha"

The group successfully teleported to the super rock villa.

Everyone was relieved. No one was hurt and they successfully saved Cale...

Everyone's eyes widened in shock upon seeing the state Cale's in.

Cale's body was so thin and pale...there were some cuts showing in his arms where his sleeve wasn't covering.

"BEACROX! Prepare warm water and a towel!"

Everyone snapped back to reality while Beacrox was already running to prepare the things Ron ordered.

"Wait...there's a metal thing around Cale's neck!!!"

They all quickly looked at Cale's neck after hearing what On said.

Raon quickly used magic to break apart the metal choker without harming Cale.

'What the...I can feel Cale's ancient powers now'

"Ah so that's the thing" mumbled Eruhaben.

"What thing Goldie gramps???"

"That metal choker you just broke was the one that was restraining Cale's ancient powers"

"Choi han"

Choi han quickly turned to look at the butler who spoke his name in a serious tone.

"Take the young master to his bedroom"

Choi Han nods his head to the butler. He quickly brought Cale to his bedroom and laid him on the bed. AS he laid him on the bed, he began to see the marks more clearly.

He saw the mark on Cale's neck where the metal choker used to be and the cuts on his thin arms.

'I'm so sorry'

'If only I tried harder...maybe you could've been saved earlier'

"Cale-nim..."

"Get out" Ron said in a stern manner once he entered the room with his son.

"What if I don't want too" Choi Han answered back.

"Then get out of the way"

Choi han quickly moved to the side to make way for the father son duo.

As Ron twisted the wet towel, Beacrox gently took of Cale's top.

They can now see clearly the bruises on Cale's body as if he was treated as a punching bag. Ron quickly and carefully wiped Cale's upper body to avoid the wounds getting infected. After that they quickly turned him to show his back. It was full of wounds more specifically whip marks. The father-son duo continued to take care of Cale's injured body while Choi han watched from the side.

After taking care of Cale's injured body. The number of bandages wrapped around Cale's body can even compare to a mummy.

"I will now inform the others of the young master's condition"

Once Ron and Beacrox left the room Choi Han was the only one left with Cale.

"Please wake up, Cale-nim"

After Ron informed the others on Cale's current condition, they called the Crown prince to inform him on what happened.

*So that's what happened...

"Yes, your highness"

"You should send some people to check the mansion for anything suspicious and to find out what poison was in Cale's room"

"I have already sent some, your highness"

"Very Good"

"..."

"I will send a doctor to inspect Cale's condition further and don't worry as I will be sending someone who can keep its mouth shut."

"Thank you, your highness"

"Ok then, please call me again when Cale wakes up."

Beep

The call ended.

The kids slept with Cale again. Raon used thermal magic to keep Cale's condition stable and everyone slept with a bit of relief tonight.

The next day, everyone was all waiting for Cale to wake up.

"13 hours...34 minutes.....11 seconds...", Raon mumbling how long Cale was sleeping.

"Mm...m"

Everyone in the room flinched when they heard Cale's mumble.

After 3-4 minutes, the red head slowly opened his eyes with a blank expression.
