Cale's door quickly opened with a loud bang revealing Ron's figure.

'eh...... WHAT THE HELL THAT SCARED THE SOUL OUT OF ME'

"............. Ron what's the matter?"

Right after Cale said his name, Ron quickly regained his composure.

"This old butler would like to have a chat with the kids privately."

'privately? Did On and her siblings make a mistake?

.... I guess they're about to get lectured'

Cale quickly thought to himself that even he couldn't win against the old man and Ron doesn't have bad intentions so it would be okay to let the kids go with Ron.

"Okay then" replied Cale to the butler.

"Ms. Rosalyn, what are you doing there?"

Rosalyn flinched hearing her name called signifying that she got caught secretly peeking in the room.

"Well young master-nim I also need to talk with the kids........." said Rosalyn while avoiding eye contact with the red head.

"I see"

Cale gestured to the kids to go to Ron and Rosalyn.

"Then we'll be back HUMAN!"

On and Hong meowed in agreement.

Cale waved goodbye to them as Ron closed the door.

He was left alone in the room.

'I wonder what the kids did to make them get lectured by both Ron and Rosalyn?

.....................................................they might've messed with Eruhaben and Rosalyn's lab?

Well.........Ron and Rosalyn will handle it, I don't need to think about it too much.'

After clearing his thoughts, Cale dozed off to sleep.

"The human...............suffered......even before the white star came......."

"We heard about Cale being "Cale the trash" but......."

The fog cat siblings knew about 'Cale the Trash', though they knew the townspeople were wary of Cale because of how he was known as a drunkard that are at odds with the gangsters and how he threw bottles in the Henituse estate. They thought he is still treated well within the noble circle and more so in his family since he is still a noble and because he is a part of the Henituse household.

"I thought THE HUMANS FATHER WAS GOOD- TURNS OUT HE TRICKED US!"

"He hurt Cale!!, nya!"

"THE HUMAN'S WHOLE FAMILY TRICKED US!!!"

"WE NEED TO AVENGE CALE!!!"

The two brothers continued to curse Cale's father and his family.

"We can't blame everything on Cale's family, nya"

"Cale acted like trash on his own volition."

The kids turned their heads to look at Ron after hearing what he said.

"That is why we must do our outmost best for Cale to go back to normal."

"The man that recently entered the Henituse Duchy is a doctor sent by Crown Prince Alberu."

"I see, any other information?"

"Some of the guards patrolling testified that they saw the doctor go in and out of the Forest of Darkness."

"Okay, you may leave now."

The Captain of the Knights Brigade proceeded to bow to the duke and left.

"Forest of darkness............. that's where Cale is."

"Mom we haven't heard of hyung for a while..."

"Lily, talk after you finish your food."

The Henituse family (excluding Cale) is currently having dinner.

"But mom we haven't met Cale since after the war and we didn't even catch a glimpse of him in the week-long celebration for our kingdoms victory except on the 1st day."

"Lily does have a point..." mumbled Basen.

"Hmm, shall we invite Cale for a meal?" asked Violan while she turned to look at Duke Deruth.

Both Lily and Basen looked at Deruth with pleading eyes.

"Sure, ill contact the mage to inform Cale."

"Yay!"

"Lunch would be the perfect time."

"Then after that we can go on a walk around town with Hyung!"

Watching the kids talk about their plans with Cale, Violan couldn't help but join the conversation.

"Then I will pick the restaurant."

Ron turned to look at the golden dragon who called his name.

"What is it Eruhaben-nim?"

"The mage from the Henituse Manor sent a message."
