"akaashi keiji! how dare you get into a fight!" akaashi's mother yelled furiously, examining akaashi's face with the utmost care. as she always did.
"you have a black eye!" she gasped and turned around coweringly almost as if she were sick.
"how could you do this to yourself?" a maid asked "do you see how upset you have made your mother?"
akaashi flinched and proceeded to bow in respect. "i'm sorry mother. it won't happen again."
"it better not! how do you ever expect to accomplish anything with your face in that shape! i can bare recognize you!"
akaashi flinched yet again. it was about his face.
of course.
"do you know how much our bloodline has worked to keep our prominent features in the family? and here you are- just ruining all of our work!"
akaashi flinched again.
"oh! imagine if it leaves a scar!"
"black eyes can't leave scars mistress." said one of the servents.
"of course! just get him out of my sight! and take care of that black eye! make sure it has disappeared by the time monday comes around again. no man of the akaashi family will be caught dead roaming around in public like that!"
