21. I Remember........ 2

Kongpob's POV -------

I Can't believe it.......

World is really a small place!!!

First I met Wad in Viang, after searching for him all over the Bangkok, since last year. Then.....
He came with his boyfriend 'Prem' who came out to be as Arthit's classmate from School, Prem, first he recognised Rose and when he heard Arthit's name he remembered him too

But we decided to not to tell Arthit about this, I wanted to ask Dr. Mew first, I don't want Arthit to be overwhelmed or pressured about his childhood memories if he doesn't remember Prem

I am so happy to have Aim and Wad, here with me. I have so much going on in my life, which I want to share with my close friends. And I am really looking forward to Prem's presence in Arthit's Life, Mew suggested that it would be good for Arthit to have friends of his age... Specially boys

I hope Prem will be able to help Arthit

Aim and others, seems genuinely surprised by Arthit, but then the last time Aim saw Arthit, he really didn't speak, and Prem and Wad haven't met him at all

I feel a little bad making Arthit go through all this. I know how uncomfortable he is around so many people, especially ones.... he doesn't know, and Prem and Wad were completely strangers for him

I can tell he wants to hold my hand, but I feel a little weird showing him affection in front of my friends. I know Aim and May get our unique situation, but Wad and Prem aren't as much in the loop. I know they are a couple and they will be able to understand my situation much better then others but I need to sort out my feelings and thoughts first. And there's My Dad, he has been eyeballing Arthit since he got here. I wish he would cut it out, I know it makes Arthit nervous. You would think my dad would be used to Arthit by now, but I think he still views him as 'not good enough' for his only son. Kinda makes me want to growl at him

Rose has outdone herself with the lunch she fixed today. All the dishes, really looks and smells yummy.....

I am really glad Roger could make it today, he has been busy in the hospital, a lot recently. I know Rose has really missed him. They both look so happy, makes me happy just to see them.

I barely notice when Rose excuses herself from the table. I think there is someone at the door

It isn't until Rose's raised voice sounds through the house that I shift my attention away from my friends

Roger and My Dad immediately get up. I push out my chair to stand, but a stern look from Dad tells me to stay put

I look at his retreating back, wondering what's up until movement catches my eye

"Tyson"

Arthit tells me as way of explanation when I grab his hand after he gets out of his seat

I guess Tyson is barking a bit more than normal. I watch him disappear around the corner, my hand hanging in the air after him

It's only a moment before I hear someone yelling Arthit's name

I knock my chair to the floor in my hurry to get to Arthit

I turn the corner from the dining room just in time to hear a man at the door yell at Arthit

"Arthit!! Arthit!! How do you feel about the prospect of Pring Afton getting a new trial ??"

Arthit freezes at the question. I have never seen him so still, like he's made of stone

"Arthit ??"
