*PHIL POV*
I was now sat next to the boy I was interested in when I was saying my final goodbyes to my parents. I had somehow gotten the courage to walk over and ask if there was an open seat. I figured the boy was waiting for some friends and would push me away. But now it was halfway through the train ride and nobody had come to join the boy. I wasn't sure anybody was going to come.
I found myself looking at my hands and thinking, mainly about the boy. I wondered why he never talked because his accent sounded amazing. I wondered why he was wearing long sleeves in such warm weather. But I decided to keep my thoughts to myself and not push the boy away by asking.
When I saw the other students across the hall changing into their school robe, I got up to reach for my bag. I took the chance to look over at the boy and saw that he had fallen asleep. I went into a panic, wondering if he would want me to wake him or let him continue sleeping.
After a couple minute, I decided I should wake him. I took a step closer and saw how beautiful the boy really was. His face was exactly as I would describe as perfect and I could look at him all day. But the train was getting closer and closer to the school and we really needed to get changed. I changed before I woke the boy and then started shaking his shoulder.
"Erm, we're getting really close to school. You need to- erm- change into robes." I said once the boy opened him eyes. The boy nodded and got up to grab his things. He changed quickly and sat back down.
"So, uh, what house are you hoping for?" I asked, trying to spark some conversation with the boy. I wanted to get to know him better but i didn't know why.
"I guess... I don't know.. I would say Slytherin. It seems to suit me the best." The boy explained.
I nodded and thought about what house I wanted. I obviously knew right away, being born into a magical family and all, but I wanted to seem like I was genuinely thinking about the conversation.
"What about you?" The boy asked.
"I guess Hufflepuff is my first choice. And then I'm not quite sure. I don't know what i would do if I didn't get into Hufflepuff. I don't think I could survive in any other house. And my parents would kill me, our family had been in the same house for decades!" I told him.
"So you have magical parents? I'm a muggleborn." The boy said.
"Yeah, I am. And wow! Really? I've never met and muggle before. My parent arent real big fan of the non magical type." The boy nodded at this and cast his eyes back out the window. But this time, his eye widened at what he saw.
